Just a Skyrim fanfic: Extended cut

Retriving a scroll

(Leonidas and Maximus enter Alftand's glacial ruins)

(Some dwarven spiders comes crawling out)

Maximus: What are those things?

Leonidas: Dwarven automatons. Machines

(Maximus stomps on a spider, destroying it)

(Leonidas hits another spider with his sword)

(Maximus kicks a spider, knocking it against a wall)

Leonidas: Maximus, I've found a chest. Watch my back while I get it open

Maximus: I've got you

(Maximus uses his sword and shield to fight off the dwarven spiders while Leonidas picks a lock)

(Eventually, Leonidas gets the lock open)

Leonidas: Over here. It's a wizard's tome

Maximus: Can I read it?

Leonidas: Go ahead

(Maximus reads the book, destroying it, but he learns some spells)

(Maximus lights his fist on fire and deactivates it)

Maximus: Wow

Leonidas: We'll have plenty of time to practice. There should be a lot more automatons here

(Leonidas pulls a book of dwarven research notes out of the chest)

Leonidas: SLEN TIID VO!

(Leonidas reads the book and all of it's notes with super speed)

Leonidas: Ok, I know how to work the machination we're looking for

Maximus: More of them

Leonidas: Go

(Maximus fights the dwarven spiders head on while Leonidas provides support with his lightning magic)

Leonidas: Wait, do you hear that?

J'darr: Where is it? I know you were trying to keep it for yourself, J'zhar. You always try to keep it for yourself! There's got to me more skooma. Shut up! Don't lie to me, J'zhar! You hid it! You always try to steal it from me!

Leonidas: He's high off his block

J'darr: What? Who are they, brother? Another one of the smooth skins looking for food? But this one wasn't trapped with us...

(J'darr lunges at Maximus, who grabs him with one hand and stabs him with his sword)

Leonidas: Well, here's his sibling. Too much skooma. He's dead

Maximus: Let us press on

(Leonidas and Maximus slide down an icy part of the cave)

(Some dwarven spheres come rolling at the duo)

Leonidas: YOL TOOR SHUL!

(Leonidas uses his fire shout to light some fuel, making a dwarvel sphere explode)

(Maximus lights some more fuel with his fire magic, blowing up another dwarven sphere)

Maximus: They were leaking. Next time we might not be so lucky. Lets take those pistons up to the ledge

(Maximus uses some dwarven pistons as moving stairs)

(Leonidas runs up, leaps off a table, grabs onto a ledge, and pulls himself up)
