Nazir: Astrid... By the sands, I still can't wrap my head around it...
Leonidas: So many of our friends are dead because of her. Festus, Gabriella, Cicero, Arnbjorn... And now poor Veezara's gone too
Night Mother: Astrid is dead. It is as it should be. She now serves Sithis in the void. But while you live, the dark brotherhood lives. We must fulfill our contract. Emperor Titus Mede must die. Speak with Amaund Motierre at the bannered mare in Whiterun. He will know the true emperor's location. But first, inform Nazir of your plans. For you are the listener. And you must bind this family together
Nazir: What a mess. I guess this is the end
Leonidas: Not exactly. The night mother has spoken to me again
Nazir: What? Well, what did she say?
Leonidas: I must speak with Amaund Motierre once more
Nazir: Amaund Motierre? But that would mean...
Leonidas: The contract is still on. The true emperor must be assassinated. I only killed a decoy
Nazir: You mean there's still a chance? But how? Our plan's gone to ruin. Everyone's dead. The family...
Leonidas: Our family lives on, Nazir. You have to trust me
Nazir: Alright then. Go, my listener. Find out what that slimy bastard Motierre has to say. And then send the emperor to Sithis. When you're finished with this emperor business, meet Babette and I back here. And come back with a barrel full of gold
Leonidas: Now we deal with the penitus oculatus
(Leonidas executes Aldis and the agents)
Maximus: Do it quickly. Be done with it
Leonidas: No
(Leonidas cuts Maximus's binds with his sword)
Leonidas: We need someone as a witness to the dark brotherhood's strength. That someone will be you. Now run along, before I change my mind. Send anyone here, and I will come for you
(Maximus nods and runs away)
(Leonidas then puts on his normal armor and glides to Whiterun, where he sees Maximus come through the gate)
Leonidas: Maximus? Where were you?
Maximus: Long story
Leonidas: I would love to chat, but I have some business to attend to
Maximus: See you later then
(Leonidas walks into the bannered mare, and finds Amaund Motierre)
Amaund: What is it? I said I didn't wish to be disturbed
Leonidas: Watch your tongue, Motierre. We have unfinished business
Amaund: By the gods. You... you're alive! But I had heard... your sanctuary... Please! You mustn't think I had anything to do with that! I wanted the emperor dead! The true emperor! I still do! It was Maro! He-
Leonidas: I don't care. Where's the emperor? The real emperor
Amaund: You mean, after all that's transpired, the dark brotherhood will still honor the contract? Why, this is astounding news! Wonderful news! The emperor is still in Skyrim, but not for long. He's onboard his ship, the katariah, moored offshore in the Solitude inlet. But you must hurry! If you can get on board that ship. Kill Titus Mede, as contracted. I will reveal the location of the dead drop that holds your payment. Please, make haste. The emperor's ship won't stay moored forever. We won't get a chance like this again
Leonidas: And I imagine Maro will be right there with him?
Amaund: Ah, yes, I can imagine you'd want to settle that score. Last I heard he was at the Solitude Docks, conducting the emperor's departure
Leonidas: I will return
(Leonidas walks away and glides away. When he gets overhead of the solitude docks, he sneaks into the katriah)
(He uses his assassin blades to kill the penitus oculatus agents inside the ship. And he slits the throat of the sleeping captain Avidius)
(He uses the skeleton key to open a door, and finds the emperor sitting at his desk)
Titus: And, once more, I prove commander Maro the fool. I told him you can't stop the dark brotherhood. Never could. Come now, don't be shy. You haven't come this far just to stand there gawking
Leonidas: You were expecting me?
Titus: But of course. You and I have a date with destiny. But so it is with assassins and emperors, hmm? Yes, I must die. And you must deliver the blow. It is simply the way it is. But I wonder... would you suffer an old man a few more words before the deed is done?
Leonidas: I'm listening
Titus: I thank you for your courtesy. You will kill me, and I have accepted that fate. But regardless of your path through life, I sense in you a certain... ambition. So I ask of you a favor. An old man's dying wish. While there are many who would see me dead, there is one who set the machine in motion. This person, whomever he or she may be, must be punished for their treachery. Once you have been rewarded for my assassination, I want you to kill the very person who ordered it. Would you do me this kindness?
Leonidas: Yes. I will do it
Titus: Thank you. Now, on to the business at hand I suppose, hmm? I won't fight you, so you may as well get it over with
(Leonidas readies his sword and chops off Titus's head. He puts the head in his bag and uses the skeleton key to get out of the room)
(Leonidas dives off the katriah and uses his cape to slow his landing, where he finds commander Maro on the docks)
Leonidas: Do you hear that? It's the sound of your son screaming in the void
Maro: What?! You? But.. You're supposed to be dead! RAAAAHHH!
(Maro charges at Leonidas with his sword raises, but Leonidas slices his stomach with his assassin blades)
Leonidas: Vengeance is mine
(Leonidas reaches into the cut on Maro's stomach, rips out his intestines, and strangles him with them)
(Leonidas holds him there in the intestine hold until he stops struggling, and he snaps Maro's neck)
(Leonidas glides back to Whiterun before he is seen by anyone and goes back to Amaund Motierre)
Amaund: Aha! You're back!
Leonidas: Titus Mede is dead
Amaund: I know! I received the news not moments ago! Ha ha! This is glorious! My friend, you may not realize it, but you have served the empire, indeed all of Tamriel, in ways you cannot possibly imagine. Ah, but you care little for politics, am I right? You want money! And money you shall have! Your payment waits for you at a dead drop. It is inside an urn, in the very chamber where we first met, in Volunruud. Now please, go. Collect your money, and let us never look upon one another again. Our business, thank the gods, is concluded
Leonidas: Actually, Motierre, there is one more thing...
Amaund: And what might that be?
Leonidas: I can't have any loose ends
(Leonidas extends his assassin blade, and swipes his arm to the side. Then Amaund's throat opens up and starts to bleed)
Amaund: (Muffled) But we had a deal...
(Amaund dies)
(Leonidas glides to Volunruud and collects his prize. One million gold)
(Leonidas's eye color is no longer black. His whole eyes are black. Almost as if his humanity is gone)
