Rikke: So, you survived Helgen? General Tullius told me what happened. Not many people made it out of there alive. I've got a good feeling about you. And I don't often get good feelings about anything. A warrior knows to trust her gut
Galmar: Yes. Ulfric told us quite the story. If you made it through all of that, you're likely worth something to us
General Tullius: The stormcloaks and the empire have come together to form "the knights of Skyrim". A force dedicated to fighting the oppression of the Thalmor
Ulfric: I still think the storm kings would have been better...
Rikke: I have a special task for you. A high ranking Thalmor agent named Achilles has located what he believes to be is the final resting place of the jagged crown. You are going to lead a team of knights to make sure he doesn't get his hands on it. Ralof and Hadvar are with the knights assembling outside a place called korvanjund. I'll meet you there as soon as I finish up here
Galmar: Old king Borgas is buried there. We're bound to run into trouble. Not just from the Thalmor, but from the undead as well. I'll meet you all there as soon as I'm finished up here
(Maximus hops on a horse)
Maximus: HYAH!
(He rides to horse to korvanjund, where he meets everyone)
Rikke: What's the situation?
Hadvar: The Thalmor were already camped out around the entrance when we got here. They don't know we're here yet though
Galmar: What about your squad, Ralof?
Ralof: It's as cold out here as the inside of an ice wraith. The Thalmor are staying nice and warm around their fires. Lets slip in and send them to their graves that way
Galmar: This should be fun
Maximus: Ready to spill some Thalmor blood?
Lydia: Always
Hadvar: Finally. I prefer a straight up fight rather than creeping around
Rikke: We have the element of surprise. Lets strike fast and hard
(Maximus, Rikke, Galmar, Hadvar, Ralof, Lydia, and the knights move in on korvanjund, charging into battle while letting out a war cry)
Thalmor Soldier: What is this?!
(The two forces clash head to head with their blades, hammers, magic, and shields)
(The first round goes to the knights)
Galmar: That's the way I like it. Short and bloody
Maximus: They never even knew what hit them
Hadvar: Everyone in!
(The knighs charge into korvanjund and take the fight directly to the Thalmor soldiers inside)
Rikke: You all stay behind and guard the entrance. We don't want any Thalmor reinforcements taking us by surprise
(Lydia and few knights stay behind to guard the entrance while everyone else presses on)
Thalmor Wizard: Put them down like the dogs they are!
(Another all out fight breaks out in the ruins of korvanjund)
(In the midst of all the chaos, Maximus kills a few Thalmor soldiers with his sword and breaks a lock on a door)
Maximus: With me!
(Maximus kicks the door open, revealing more Thalmor soldier, which fire some arrows)
(Maximus blocks the arrows with his shield, and charges at the Thalmor soldiers with the other knights)
Galmar: Ah, the hall of stories! We must be getting close now
Ralof: I've heard of the hall of stories. They say these walls show the history of the ancients who built this place
Rikke: A puzzle door?
Hadvar: Maybe that claw right there will help us get it open
(Maximus finds an ebony dragon claw on the ground next to a dead Thalmor agent with some poison darts in him)
Maximus: I know how to do this. Leonidas taught me how
(Maximus uses the ebony claw to open the puzzle door)
(Everyone heads down the hall and finds a bunch of Thalmor soldiers fighting some draugr)
Maximus: The crown should be around here somewhere. Everyone spread out and keep your eyes open
Galmar: Steady! They may be uglier than the Thalmor, but they'll go down just the same!
(A high elf rushes into battle with flaming dual swords, powering through the draugr and some of the knights)
Maximus: Achilles...
Achilles: You will not get the jagged crown!
(Maximus and Achilles start fighting, but Maximus struggles to keep up with Achilles's speed)
(Maximus gives Achilles a strong uppercut, sending him flying)
(Achilles realizes he is overwhelmed and runs away seemingly at a superhuman speed)
(The knights work together to kill the rest of the Thalmor soldiers)
Maximus: Here it is!
(Maximus picks up the jagged crown)
Galmar: Get the crown to Solitude as fast as you can. Tell Ulfric he owes me a drink
Rikke: We'll stay here and sweep up any remaining Thalmor. And see if anything else in here will be useful
(Maximus hightails it back to Solitude and puts the jagged crown in the vault until the knights find someone worthy to wear it)
Maximus: Ulfric. I believe you owe Galmar a drink?
Ulfric: Damn him. That old bear was right
(Ulfric chuckles)
Tullius: Excellent work, Maximus. I have to admit, I've had my doubts it even existed. Did you run into any trouble?
Maximus: Legette Rikke was right. The Thalmor were there ahead of us
(Tullius sighs)
Tullius: Perhaps I didn't respond to Rikke's suggestion as quickly as I should have. But at least we ended up with the crown and not those damned elves. Now then, we need someone we can trust to deliver a couple of things to the jarl of Whiterun. We have it on good authority that the Thalmor have raised enough men to attack the city of Whiterun. Balgruuf however, refused the knight's support
(Tullius hands Maximus an envolope)
Tullius: This missive should convince him. Be aware, Maximus, these documents contain sensitive intelligence that is for the jarl's eyes only
Ulfric: One more thing. Deliver this axe to jarl Balgruuf
(Ulfric gives Maximus a small handheld axe)
Maximus: Should I say anything to him?
Ulfric: Men who understand each other often have no need for words. There are but a few simple truths behind one warrior giving another warrior his axe. Balgruuf will know my meaning. But keep your wits about you. The jarl of Whiterun is known for his short temper
