All of the members went to bed pretty late that night. With nothing more but a bowl of cereal to fill their bellies, the members went to their rooms - tired from the days events. The members of course checked with Suga once more to make sure he wasn't feeling down. Even though Suga tried constantly to assure that he was fine, the members continued to bombard him with affection. They hugged him once more that night - Jungkook even went as far as kissing him on the forehead.
This of course was to say goodnight. Not at all because he was jealous that Taehyung kissed Suga's cheek earlier that night... No that wasn't it at all.

The sky didn't shine bright today. Instead it was a gloomy day - just like the previous night. The ground damp from the rain and the trees swayed harshly in the breeze. The sound of thunder and lighting could be heard and it startled the members - Suga included.

He awoke with a jump; almost as if he could feel the storm brewing in the sky and it left him paralyzed. Getting out of his bed was pointless because he already knew what the dreadful sound was, it was his silly fear. A fear that caused both his mind and his body to go frigid.

It wasn't always this bad. Usually he was able to endure the sounds until the storm was over, he just needed a distraction. But this time, his mother and father continued to occupy his mind. After years of a peaceful mind state - free of his heavy burdens and troubling past - the thoughts slowly corrupted his headspace.

He attempted to speak, to move, to rid himself of this dismay but unfortunately his attempts failed.

There he lay in his bed, completely and utterly, terrified.

Jungkook first heard the thunder when he was asleep. He too was awoken by the loud clap in the somber sky. This caused him to get out of bed and go straight to Suga's room. Nobody else may have noticed but it seemed like his hyung didn't like thunderstorms - at least that's what it seemed.

He always jumped at the sound and his hyung was always trying (but not succeeding) to look unaffected. But in fact, he was the opposite. His already pale face turned a ghostly white when the storms came - Jungkook noticed it about a month ago. He didn't know exactly why he was afraid and he didn't pry - it wasn't his place to ask.

He quietly tiptoed down the hallway, trying his hardest not wake any of the sleeping members.

Finally, he reached Suga's room and knocked lightly. Putting his ear up to the door, he waited for a response but heard nothing.

He knocked again, louder this time - not loud enough to wake the members but with enough force for Suga to hear it from the inside.

Nothing.

He heard nothing.

He was tempted to open the door, to just peek his head inside and steal a small glance.

So he did.

But he was not prepared for what he saw. Suga appeared to be frozen in time. His eyes trembled and they looked empty - it even scared Jungkook as he tried to approach his hyung.

He looked as though he were in a trance, not in this world but another, one that was far away, like a safe haven in the mind. Jungkook was witnessing yet another unforeseen side to his hyung, however, he wasn't sure he liked it.

He hesitantly grabbed his hyung's shoulder in an attempt to get his attention.

Suga jumped at the sudden contact and turned to face Jungkook.

"Kook? W-what are you doing here?"

Although Suga tried to ask the question casually, his voice betrayed him and began to tremble.

"You're okay, you're okay." Suga chanted in his head.

"Hyung... I was just..."

It was obvious that Suga didn't want the fear to be spoken aloud. Jungkook saw his shaking body and shallow breaths but he remained silent. If Suga didn't want to let him know, then again, he wouldn't pry - even though he already knew the older one's fear.

"... Bored. I checked everybody's room and you were the only one awake so I came here."
"Pretty bad storm huh?"

" I did NOT mean to say that." Jungkook thought to himself.

Suga couldn't manage anything more than a small head nod at the mention of the storm.

"I mean, do you want to watch a movie?"

Suga looked at Jungkook quizzically.

"It doesn't have to be scary... Since I know you can't take- I mean you don't like scary movies."
"Who said I was afraid of scary movies?" Suga finally spoke.

Jungkook's bunny smile broke out at his hyung finally breaking the awkward silence. It felt like he was talking to a wall.

"I didn't say you were scared hyung... You just dislike them, I guess." Jungkook replied cheekily.
"Whatever." Suga said, rolling his eyes.

Suga wasn't exactly sure why Jungkook came to his room. He could've actually been bored or maybe he saw through his facade. Either way, it was comforting to have another presence with him as the storm raged outside. It put his mind at ease and before he knew it, the thoughts about his past were long gone.

"So, what DO you wanna watch hyung?"
"Hmm... Spongebob."
"Wait what?"
"You aren't deaf right?"
"No but ... Why?"
"Because I like it." Suga stated simply.

Jungkook just stared at his hyung. Was it odd that he found this shocking interest... Shocking? In the end he just shrugged his shoulders and put on what was requested.

"Hyung, can you scoot over?"
"Why?"
"So that I can get in the bed with you. It's cold in here."
"Yeah, no."
"But I'm freezing."
"Okay?"
"Are you going to let THE maknae freeze? Really hyung?"
"Yes really."
"Waaaeeee?" Jungkook whined.
"One, it's my bed. And two, you might BE the maknae, but your huge. I'd prefer not to get crushed in my own bed, thanks."
"Well can I at least get a blanket?"
"You know where they are."

Sighing, Jungkook got up to get a blanket from the closet in the hallway. He glanced around Suga's room, looking for a place to sit. There was a small chair in the corner but Jungkook didn't want to sit in it. He wanted to lay in his hyung's big comfy bed. Intent on laying in the bed Jungkook approached Suga and bounced on his bed, causing the small rapper to bounce along with the bed.

Unamused, Suga glared at the maknae.

"Please hyung? I won't even move... I'll stay on my side. Just let me sit in your comfortable bedd." He pleaded.
"If I say yes, will you be quiet so that I can watch TV?"

Jungkook eagerly shook his head yes. Suga found this cute and chuckled.

"Fine then."

Suga moved to the right in order to make room for the enormous maknae. Jungkook happily slid under the covers and let out a content sigh. Suga's bed indeed felt like heaven.

"Hyung, do you have any snacks?"
"I thought you said you were going to be quiet?"
"But-"

Suga looked at Jungkook sternly.

"Sorry hyung." Jungkook muttered.

Silently, they continued to watch Spongebob.
