Chapter 27: Convoy Takeover

"So they convoy is going to be passing through here tomorrow night." Lucio says, pointing to a spot on the map.

"This would be the best spot to hit them?" You ask.

"Seems so. Tight roadway. Tall buildings. No real easy way to their reinforcements to arrive. I think this is out best bet." He responds.

"Then we hit them there. We hit them hard." You respond, coldness in your voice. "Then we are going to execute the next phase."

"It would be best not to waste time. Act as we are the convoy and get into Vishkar as soon as possible." Genji says.

"Not give them a time to figure out something is wrong. Get into their headquarters as soon as we can...get Brig out as soon as we can." Tracer adds.

"You think this will work?" Lucio asks you.

"I will make it work. I am not leaving her." You respond. He nods as he looks at the others.

"The trucks cannot sustain too much damage or else they will catch on too quickly." Genji says. "We need a way to take them out without damage."

"I will have a car parked in front of where they will be driving and then have one moved in behind them." Lucio says.

"We will attack the front truck and the rear one then moves in to the middle ones, not allowing them to escape."

"Maybe we could shoot out the tires? Not allow them to drive away?" Tracer asks.

"We have collected the spare parts of trucks they have abandoned and we have a few tires." Lucio responds.

"Changing some tires won't take too long." You add. "Tracer, you are going to be waiting in this house here. Once the first two trucks are hit I want you to slash the tires of the middle trucks so they cannot drive away."

"Aye aye commander." She responds.

"Genji. I want you to take out the rear truck as soon as it stops. A few shurikens through the windows will be fine. We will just roll them down so they won't notice."

"Quick and quiet is what I do best."

"I will take the lead truck. Once we take them down, Lucio and his men will move in and we will head to the headquarters."

"I will get the best men that I know ready to go with us. Meet us there at 2 am." He skates off into the other room.

"We got three hours. Better get a little rest and make sure our gear is ready." Lena suggests.

"She is right, we need to be at our best." Genji adds.

"We need to be ready for everything. If shit hits the fan then we have to deal with it on the fly...we are only going to get one shot at getting her back."

"And we will love." Tracer says as she places a hand on your shoulder. "Now go make sure your gear is ready and don't think too much."

Two and a half hours later

"Is everyone in position?" You ask into your ear piece.

"Tracer ready."

"Genji ready."

"Team one ready." Lucio responds.

"Team two ready."

"Team three ready."

"Tito you and team two hold back until the fighting is over. We are going to need those wheels changed fast and that is going to take all of us."

"Got it bossman." He responds.
