A/N: Inspired by the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 3, so spoiler warning if you haven't seen it yet!
Well, who knew that this is how you'd be spending what once was a typical day with your boyfriend, Bucky Barnes as well as your friend, Sam Wilson.
Partying it up in Madripoor.
With one of the most wanted men on the planet acting as your guide, and a woman who you thought long gone having resurfaced.
"One heck of a party, huh?" A familiar voice sounds from behind you over the steady buzz of chatter and beat of the obnoxiously loud music filling the area - matching the throbbing in your head.
"Sure is," You nod simply, turning to face the source of the voice, forcing a small smile onto your features, trying to ignore the pounding against your skull as a series of strobe lights pass you by, dazzling your vision.
"I still can't believe Sharon wouldn't just let us stay upstairs," Bucky grumbles, frowning, his eyes wandering over your shoulder and over the sea of people behind you. "It's too crowded in here."
"I agree," You mutter lowly, turning to scowl at a passerby who just happened to bump into you, causing you to instinctively shift closer to your boyfriend's side. "It's too loud, too."
Hearing your complaint, Bucky's blue eyes tear themselves away from surveying the crowd and they wander down to you, genuine concern sparkling within them.
"You okay?"
"My head is pounding, but other than that small detail, I'm fine, I guess."
His gaze once more leaves yours and scans the room once more, however, as you watch his facial expression change slightly, you can already tell he's made up his mind.
And before you can protest, he's gently, but firmly, grabbed your upper arm and begins to head towards the exit, ignoring the looks of other partygoers.
"Bucky, it's fine. We can just-" You begin as he tosses open the set of doors that leads into a small foyer, the sound of his heavy footsteps accompanied by the tap of the ridiculous heels you'd been given to wear, echoing in the much quieter space.
"Just what?" He chuckles, sliding his hand down your arm and into your hand, grasping it in his before turning to face you with a slight smirk. "Come on, we've made it this far. We might as well head upstairs now."
"As long as it's quiet up there, that's fine with me," You agree, the throbbing in your head still not ceasing as you keep up with Bucky's longer strides.
"Your head any better?"
"Not really. But getting out of there did help."
"Good."

You sigh contentedly as you step out of the shower and wrap yourself in the awaiting towel, the lingering steam evidently fogging up the mirror in front of you.
Bucky had suggested that you take a nice long, hot shower to maybe help clear your headache away.
But, as you stand there, in the bathroom of Sharon's rather lavish home, a shiver dances down your spine, the pain in your skull still very much so there.
"Your shower idea didn't seem to cut it," You holler to where your boyfriend is likely already laying in bed, waiting for you.
"Oh?" Comes the reply, his tone seemingly genuine, though you can tell there's a hint of something else in it as you change into your pyjamas and hang the towel to dry. "Well, I'm sure I can come up with another idea and we can see if that helps you at all."
You blush slightly as you leave the bathroom behind and make your way towards Bucky's figure, already in bed, like you predicted.
"Buck, What you're suggesting is the last thing we should even be thinking of doing," You mumble with a chuckle, clambering into bed beside him. "I need a remedy for a headache not something just to take my mind off of it for a while."
"Hm," He muses aloud, closing the book he had been previously reading and setting it on the table beside him before joining you at your side. "I'm not quite sure then."
"Oh, come on," You urge, swatting his arm away playfully from where he tried to grab you to pull you closer into him. "You're usually so good at solving these types of issues."
"Yeah, and usually a hot shower and everything else I've suggested seems to work for you," He retorts, finally managing to wrap his prosthetic arm around you and pull you flush against his chest. "But if you give me a minute, maybe something else'll come to mind."
You simply nod into his chest, burying your head into the crook of his neck, trying to block out the still obnoxiously loud noises of the party filtering up from downstairs.
The steady sound of Bucky's heartbeat and his breathing begins to ease your pounding head slightly, though the pain doesn't completely subside.
The noise from downstairs is just still too loud.
"I think I know just the thing," Bucky suddenly murmurs after a while, softly pulling away from you and rolling out of bed.
"And that would be?" You call out lazily after him, watching his form saunter across the room and towards the jacket he'd been wearing previously.
"Music," He replies simply, pulling out what appears to be a smartphone from one of the jacket pockets before heading back towards you and joining you under the covers.
"I thought you had a flip-phone," You muse aloud, watching as he powers the small device on, navigating through it with a bit of effort.
"I do have one of those, but I figured I should learn how to use one of these things eventually."
"And you brought it with you, why?"
"Because it has nothing on it except music," Your boyfriend explains, the beginnings of a smirk tugging at his lips.
"Fair enough," You grin as Bucky cues up some music, the familiarly calming sound of slow jazz beginning to play through the device's speakers.
As the music continues to play, you both shift closer to each other, his arm firmly securing you to his larger form, hiding your smaller one away from the world.
And soon enough, as the comforting feeling of his hands playing with your hair begins to fade entirely from your senses, you can't help but smile.
"Better?" Bucky murmurs against the top of your head, pressing a gentle kiss there.
"Mhm," Is the only reply you give, snuggling even closer to him as fatigue crashes over you, your aching head now long gone.
"Thanks, Buck."
"Anytime, Doll."
