(Recap)

“Faith please answer me,” I ask again, “I miss you so much.” She slowly tugs my hand away from the grip on her shirt and I can hear her footsteps retreating.

“Don’t leave me Faith,” I wail as tears start rolling down my cheeks, “Not again.” Whoever it is keeps walking and I feel more tears rolling down my cheeks.

“Please stay with me,” I beg. I smile once I hear the footsteps returning and the person lowering themselves down next to me. Our arms are almost touching and I can feel the heat radiating off of her.

“Goodnight Faith,” I whispers as I squeeze her arm lightly.

“Goodnight Kate,” she replies in a weirdly deep voice. I wrinkle my eyebrows in confusion but slowly push my doubts away. It must just because I’m so tired that her voice sounds weird.

“Sleep tight,” I whisper as the world slowly fades out.

I wrinkle my eyebrows confusedly as I feel the bed beneath me. When did it get so hard, like rock hard? I look down and feel my face heat up hotter than an oven.

“OH MY GOODNESS,” I scream as I scramble off of Mitch’s chest. How did he even end up here?

“Did you really have to scream in my ear,” Mitch groans as he grabs his ears.

“How did you end up in my bed,” I ask my voice becoming hysterical, “Please don’t tell me we did anything.”

“You don’t remember last night,” Mitch asks bewildered as he sits up. His hair is shaken up messily and falls in front of his eyes. He quickly shoves it back as he stared at me confusedly.

“I remember the pool, then fighting, running into the jungle, and then falling asleep,” I explain as I pull my brows together worriedly and contort my face.

“We didn’t...did we,” I hiss as my voice drops to a low tone.

“Nah,” Mitch chuckles, “But we did do it, like it.”

“What’s ‘it’ mean,” I whisper slowly.

“You don’t know,” Mitch mock gasps, “You don’t know what ‘it’ means.”

“Yes I do,” I snap in reply, “I just want to make sure we are talking about the same ‘it’,” I lie.

“Well I’m talking about the ‘it’ that you’re talking about,” Mitch explains as dusts some sand of his arms. If it’s possible, all the color drains out of my face.

“Oh my-,” I feel my eyes watering, “I was going to wait until I was married.” Mitch lets out a snort and stares amusedly at the sand.

            “Kate I-.”

“I can’t believe it,” I cry as bury my head in my hands.

            “Kate I-.”

“Mitch can I please have a moment,” I speak from behind my hands, “This is really emotional for me.” Mitch lets out a loud laugh and looks at me amusedly. He then reaches for my hands and rips them off my face.
