"Good idea," I mutter as my face inflames, thank God for gullible Joey's. I hope he isn't traumatized.

"Can you teach me how to revive people," Joey asks as he walks alongside Mitch. Mitch accidently lets a snort of laughter but masks it by coughing.

"This kind of thing comes naturally Joey," he answers while winking at me. We continue walking until Mitch stops and pauses, making the rest of us do the same.

"What's wron-," I speak until Mitch places a finger on my lips.

"Listen," he murmurs and cocks his head up. I follow his directions, and my stomach drops when I hear a noise coming from above.

"Is that a helicopter," Joey whispers as his eyes widen.

"C'mon," Mitch grabs Joey and I's hands and starts running to the river. Automatically, as if turned on by a button, my adrenaline starts pumping wildly as I move my legs to keep up. My stomach flops when I realize who the people in the helicopter above are, the only people on the island who could have that kind of technology; Verisal.

When we reach the edge of the foliage we run into the rest of the team who has taken shelter under the trees to avoid being spotted by the aircraft.

"Shoot," Eric curses as he turns to Mitch, "How did they find out we were here?"

"Isn't it obvious," Mitch's eyes darken and clenches his fists, "Hank."

"Hank would do something like this," Kasey's voice drops and cracks. Mitch's silence answers her question as he stares up at the helicopter circling the area.

"Guys," Mitch glances down at the frightened faces, "We're going to have to run really fast, can you guys do that?" Wordlessly the pale faces nod.

"Joey," Eric says aloud, "Can you go tell Zyla what's happened, and tell him thank you for all his help."

"You guys are leaving," Joey whispers as he steps forward. His big brown eyes begin to well up with tears.

"Temporarily," Mitch ruffles Joey's hair, "We'll be back soon."

"Bye," Joey chokes and wraps Mitch in a hug. Mitch's face is pained as he hugs Joey back and I can tell he's struggling to keep composed.

"Bye Joey," he answers in a raspy voice. Joey rubs his eyes furiously before taking off towards the village to tell Zyla.

"Let's go," Julie murmurs as we turn into the woods. As we do the sound of the helicopter becomes louder as the trees around us bend to it's force while the craft lands.

"Oh God," Kasey breathes.

"Run," Eric yells, "We have to move."

"Ouch," Daisy whispers as she trips while running and falls.

"Are you ok," I dust her off hurriedly and hold her hand. She nods and it is then I notice her face is streaked with tears.

"What's wrong," I pause my running and look at her earnestly.

"I can't take another steps," her shoulders shake from her sobs.
