{Recap}
"Mitch what do you think they are," I say aloud as I bite my lip.
"You know what," Mitch answers, "Why don't we do this thing called sleep and talk tomorrow?"
"I'm trying to do that," I choke on tears, "But I keep getting scared."
"Tiger," Mitch breathes as he pulls me to him, "I'm right here, nothing's going to happen."
"Promise," I rest my head on his chest.
"Promise," he repeats softly as he wraps his arms around me. I smile up at him and plant a kiss on his jaw.
"You're my hero," I murmur sleepily as I begin to fall asleep.
"And you're a thief," Mitch whispers into my ear, "Because you stole my heart."

I groggily open my eyes and glance around my surroundings. A stream of sunlight filters through the glass wall on the other side of Mitch's room brightening the entire room. I glance down to Mitch who's head lies on my chest and his arms are strewn haphazardly. His head rises and falls softly with my breathing as I stare at him fondly. He stirs slightly and snuggles closer to me all the while not waking up. His hair is tossed carelessly around his face and a few strands slip over his forehead. I softly brush them out of the way and plant a soft kiss on his forehead.
"Mmm," Mitch's eyes flutter open, "Morning tiger," his morning voice is husky.
"Morning," I reply as I gently push his head off my chest and sit up. Mitch rolls over onto his side and stretches his arms, smacking me in the process.
"Ow," I rub my arm.
"Sorry," Mitch grins sheepishly.
"You did that on purpose," I arch an eyebrow at him.
"Oops," he laughs as he stands up and makes his way to the bathroom. I slyly lift up a fluffy pillow and hurl it at his head. I pump a fist in excitement when it collides and watch Mitch hunch over in surprise. He turns to me with a mischievous smile and shakes his head mockingly.
"When I come out this bathroom," he pauses as he places his hands on his hips, "You will regret that." I burst into laughter as he enters the bathroom and shuts the door behind him. Once he has the door closed securely behind him I slip off the bed and crawl into the nearby sheet closet. I pile a bunch of sheets in front of me and close the doors gently as I hope that I picked a good hiding place.
Eventually the sound of the bathroom door swinging open makes my heart race. I can hear Mitch tread over to the bed and throw the covers off.
"You can run but you can't hide tiger," he calls as he stomps across the floor toward the closet. I hold my breath and as I feel my heart beat accelerate. The doors to the closet burst open and I can barely hold back my scream of shock.
"I can smell you Kate," Mitch chuckles, "This whole closet smells like lemons."
"You creeper," I reply in a muffled voice before I can stop myself. The sheets in front of me are immediately shoved aside and Mitch grabs my leg as he drags me out of the closet.
