Chapter 38 - Kate's latest visit

It was the next morning when I woke up at 8.30am after having a goodnight's sleep.  Before getting ready for Kate's visit I checked my phone and there was a new text message from Jimmy which read Good morning babe, how are you and hope you had a good sleep last night but I'm really going to miss you today :(

I replied Hi Jimmy, I'm ok and a goodnight's sleep and also going to miss you too and I'll ring you later as Kate is coming round for a chat.

Jimmy sent me another text message which read, ok babe but let us know if you decide to go clothes shopping as well.

I sent a text message to Jimmy which read, yeah will do :).

After texting Jimmy I had a shower and then got dressed before going downstairs to have my breakfast.

Shortly after I had my breakfast I rang Kate and said Hi Kate it's Lou I was wondering what time would you like to come round.  Kate replied is 10.30 ok?  I replied yeah that's fine.

Whilst I was waiting for Kate to come round I did the dishes and listened to some music.

A few hours later the doorbell rang and knew it would be Kate so I went to answer the door and said Hi Kate.

Kate replied hi Lou.

I invited Kate in and asked her to sit down.  Kate asked me how was your evening with Jimmy? 

I replied it went really well and I said to Kate that Jimmy was the perfect gentleman and he opened the door for me when we arrived at the pub and bought the drinks etc.

I also mentioned to Kate that we had the 911 quiz and we asked 3 questions each about the lyrics and videos.  I said to Kate that I asked Jimmy what his hobbies and interests were and told her that he liked running, cooking especially Italian food and also football. 

I also mentioned to Kate that we talked about everything from films and music to animals.

Kate then asked did you and jimmy make eye contact with each other and were you both nervous at all. 

I replied yeah we did make eye contact and we were both nervous but as the night went on any nerves that we had were gone.  

After I told Kate about my night out with Jimmy, Kate said, Lou sounds like you had a good time with Jimmy, I replied yeah we did and he also walked me home afterwards. 

Kate then asked me so did you and Jimmy kiss then?  I replied no we didn't.

When Kate asked if Jimmy and I had kissed I started to have a flashback to the meet and greet when she told Lee and Spike about me liking Jimmy.  

The last thing I wanted was to tell Kate that me and Jimmy had already kissed especially as she couldn't keep things quiet.
