Chapter 55

Twenty minutes later we arrived at Jimmy's and Jimmy said babe why don't you make yourself comfy for a bit in the living room and when I come down I'll get us some cold drinks and later on we'll go back to yours and have something to eat?

I replied yeah ok we then kissed before Jimmy went upstairs to get changed.

A few minutes later as I was sitting on the sofa I noticed some pictures of Lee, Jimmy and spike so I went over and had a look whilst thinking about what I would cook for us.

Half an hour later Jimmy came down and asked what would like to drink babe?

I replied whatever you're having please and would you like a hand?

Jimmy replied no it's ok as Jimmy got us our drinks and I'll be through in a few minutes.

I replied ok. A few minutes later Jimmy came through with our drinks (we both had orange juice) and he sat down next to me as he put his arm round me as we had a chat.

A few hours after we had our drinks we had a walk back to mine as Jimmy took my hand and as we were walking I asked Jimmy if he liked salmon.

Jimmy replied yeah I love salmon.I said ok how about I make us salmon with potatoes followed by fruit salad and ice cream.Jimmy replied yeah sounds good.

By this time we had arrived back at mine and as it was still early for lunch me and Jimmy relaxed on the sofa as we chatted about my running as spending time with Jimmy helped me to forget about the text kate sent to me earlier on.

A few hours later I started to feel hungry so I asked Jimmy if he wanted to something to eat.

Jimmy replied yeah ok and can't wait to try your cooking babe as this is the first time you've cooked for me.

I replied yeah I know.

I then went into kitchen and started to prepare our lunch and put the salmon and potatoes onto a dish and placed it in the oven and got the fruit salad ready.

As this was the first time I had cooked for Jimmy I really hoped that he liked my cooking as much as I enjoyed his when he first cooked me Risotto back at his place a few weeks ago.

Whilst I was in the kitchen I got our drinks and went back into the living room and sat down next to Jimmy.

Twenty five minutes later Jimmy said something smells nice from the kitchen.

I replied yeah it does as I went into the kitchen and checked on the salmon and potatoes and as everything was now ready I asked Jimmy to come through.

I then dished the salmon and potatoes up onto the plates.

Jimmy said ok babe as Jimmy sat down at the table and said babe this looks nice and smells delicious. I replied yeah it does as we both tucked in.

Jimmy said babe I really enjoyed that and you are a great cook.

I replied aww thanks Jimmy as I went to get our dessert.

Shortly after we had our dessert Jimmy said babe, I'll help you do the dishes if you want?

I replied are you sure you don't mind?

Jimmy replied no it's ok especially after cooked us a nice lunch.

I replied ok as Jimmy gave me a hand with dishes.

After we did the dishes we went back into the lounge and we looked into each eyes and kissed.

It was several hours later (it was now early evening) and as we were both full after having something to eat earlier Jimmy said why don't we watch a movie?

I replied yeah ok and how about Top Gun ?

Jimmy replied yeah I love that movie.

I then put the movie on as we cuddled on the couch as Jimmy put his arm round me as I rested my hand on his chest.

Jimmy's POV

During the film I began to think that since me and Louise got together a few weeks ago I'd only taken her out the once for a drink.

I decided that I would ask Louise tomorrow if she'd like to go out to lunch with me and would take her to the pub when we first went out together.

However, whilst we were watching Top Gun and half way through the film I noticed that Louise had fallen asleep and as she had her arm across me I couldn't move but didn't want to disturb her. Also she looked so peaceful whilst she was sleeping so I ended up putting my other arm round her and that's when I started to feel tired myself and before drifting off to sleep I gently kissed her forehead before resting my head on Louise's shoulder.
