Chapter 72

It was a few days later since I finally told Kate properly so after I came back from running with Jimmy I decided to check my phone.

I said Jimmy, there's a new message from Kate which said hello Louise, I take it you're out with Jimmy again but are you free as I want you to meet me in the cafe so we can have a chat later today but she hadn't said why.

After we listened to the message, Jimmy said I think it maybe something to do with what happened when she found out the truth about us etc.

I replied yeah I know

Jimmy said do you want me to be around when you meet up with her?

I replied yeah and are you sure you don't mind?

Jimmy said no not at all babe

I replied ok

A few minutes later I phoned Kate and said Hi Kate, it's Louise

Kate replied oh hi Louise I take it you got my message?

I replied yeah I did and what time do you want meet me in the cafe?

Kate said about 11.30 if that's ok?

I replied yeah that's fine.

After I spoke to Kate, Jimmy checked his watch and said babe, we've got a few hours before you meet Kate.

I replied yeah ok and will need to get changed.

Jimmy yeah ok babe

It was an hour later when Jimmy said how I put the kettle on whilst you get changed?

I replied yeah sounds good Jimmy and I will be quick as I can.

Jimmy replied ok and there will be a nice drink of tea waiting for you.

I replied aww thanks Jimmy

Jimmy replied and babe don't look so worried as it'll be ok.

I then went upstairs to get changed.

It was forty five minutes later after I got changed and went downstairs.

Jimmy said babe, here's a tea for you.

I replied aww thanks Jimmy as I sat down next down to Jimmy on the sofa as he put his arm round me.

Whilst we were having our tea Jimmy said after we have our tea I'll go home and get changed myself if that's ok?

I replied yeah that's fine

Jimmy replied ok

Twenty minutes later, just before Jimmy left he said I really hope it goes ok babe and if you need me you've got my number.

I replied yeah me too as we kissed.

A few minutes later we then said goodbye to each other.

After Jimmy left I was started to get really worried about what Kate wanted to talk to me about.

An hour and a half later (it was 11.10am), I decided to phone Jimmy up and said hi Jimmy it's me, just to let you know that I'm on my way to meet Kate.

Jimmy replied hi babe, try not to worry and like I said I'll be with you later.

I replied yeah ok as I made my way to the cafe.

Jimmy's POV

When I heard the message that Kate left Louise I was starting to get worried about her as I had a feeling that Kate wouldn't listen as she stormed out of Louise's without saying goodbye to any of us.

However, I really wanted to be with Louise when she met up with Kate and didn't want her to come between us especially as I'd only told Lee and Spike a few days ago that I had fallen in love with Louise.

After I got changed I decided to phone Lee up to let him know that I was off to meet Louise in the cafe because I had feeling that things would get heated between them both.

I called Lee and said Hey Lee, it's Jimmy

Lee replied hi Jimmy, what's up?

I said it's Louise and Kate

Lee replied what about them?

I replied well when we came back from running a few hours ago Kate left Louise a message asking her to meet in the cafe as she wanted a chat.

Lee replied aww Jimmy and you sound a bit worried?

I replied yeah I am Lee and I'm just on my way there now

Lee replied ok and let me know how it goes.

I replied yeah will do.

Shortly after I spoke to Lee (it was nearly 12pm) I got my keys for the car however when I came to start it wouldn't start so after a few attempts I noticed that on the dashboard that the engine warning light was on.

Also as I wanted to make sure the car was ok to drive I called the local garage and they advised me to bring it in.

At this point I was getting really annoyed with the car so I called Louise to let her know what was happening.

I dialled Louise's number but as she had her phone switched off I left a message which said hi babe, it's me I don't want to worry you but I've had to take my car to the garage and will be with you as soon as I can, Jimmy

I then tried the car again and this time it started so I took my time as I took it to the garage.

Twenty minutes later I arrived at the garage and as it looked busy I saw one of the mechanics and said I phoned earlier as I noticed that the engine warning light was on and just want to make sure that it's ok to drive. Also I think there is something wrong with the engine as it took a few goes

The mechanic said ok, leave it with us and we'll take a look for you sometime today.

I replied, ok but do you have a courtesy car that I could use as I meant to be meeting my girlfriend in the cafe now.

The mechanic said yeah we have but unfortunately it's out with another customer at the moment.

I was now getting really annoyed so I said oh ok and I'll pick it up tomorrow then.

I left the garage and decided to phone Lee again.

I called Lee and said hey Lee it's me again and was wondering if you could do me a huge favour?

Lee replied yeah and what's happened?

I replied I've had to leave the car in the garage and they haven't got a courtesy car available and would it be ok if you gave me a lift to the cafe?

Lee replied yeah sure Jimmy and I'll be with you as soon as I can.

I replied thanks Lee and will phone Louise again.

Whilst I was waiting for Lee I phoned Louise again and said hi babe, it's me again, I've had to leave the car in the garage and Lee has kindly offered to give me a lift and will be with you soon. Jimmy.

Fifteen minutes later Lee turned up as we made our way to the cafe.
