Chapter 50

After we had our walk round the park we both decided to go to the cafe so we found a quiet spot by the window just the two of us. We looked at the menu and a few minutes later Jimmy went to order our drinks and whilst we were waiting we had a chat about how much i enjoyed running.

An hour later after we had our drinks we were about to leave when i said to Jimmy don't look now but look who's just walked in.

Jimmy replied ok but if she asks you again about whether we had kissed let me do the talking and try to stay calm.

I replied yeah ok.

Ten minutes later Kate came over and said hello to us both when Jimmy said im just going to the gents.

I replied ok.

Kate sat down and said you and Jimmy look very cosy together & i still want to know if you two had kissed. I was about to tell kate that we hadn't when Jimmy came back & said what's going on?

I said well kate has just asked me again if me and you had kissed.

Kate said well Louise have you?

I replied look kate how many times do I have to tell you we haven't kissed and if you still don't believe me ask jimmy yourself.

Jimmy said in a polite voice Louise is right we haven't kissed and there is nothing going on between us and I'm just teaching Louise how to run that's all.

Kate replied, well if you two haven't kissed how come I saw you two a few days ago kissing.

Jimmy replied look Kate it was just a kiss on the cheek and what's it to do with you anyway as it's not really any of your business whether me and Louise had kissed or not especially after what happened before and after the meet and greet.

Kate replied well it didn't look like that to me and what do you mean Jimmy?

Jimmy said well Louise told me everything about how she told you not to say anything to me, lee or spike that she liked me before the gig.

At that point Kate didn't say anything and all I wanted was for Jimmy to take me home.

After we told Kate, we left the cafe and Jimmy said how about I take you home and keep you company for a bit.

I replied yeah ok and thanks for not telling Kate we had kissed.

Jimmy said that's ok babe as he walked me home.
