Chapter 71

Jimmy's POV

It was fifteen minutes later when I said guys do you think Louise is ok as she's been up there a while now?

Lee said I don't know

I replied ok, I'll just shout up to her then and said Lou are you ok.

Louise then came down and said no I'm not as Louise came into the living room.

I said babe have you been crying again?

Louise replied yeah I have Jimmy

Lee said aww Louise, Kate's really upset you hasn't she?

Louise replied yeah she has Lee

I then went over to Louise and gave her a hug as I hated her seeing like this.

I said listen babe you did great back there and am so proud of you when you told Kate.

Louise said aww thanks Jimmy but why do I feel so bad about the way Kate left.

I said babe it's done now and Kate finally knows the truth.

Lee said Louise, Jimmy's right and don't worry about Kate

Louise replied yeah you guys are right and thanks again for being here today as I really appreciate it.

Spike said that's ok Louise.

I said babe, why don't you give me a hand in the kitchen to make the drinks?

Louise replied ok as she gave me a hand in the kitchen to make the drinks but I really wanted to give her was a kiss.

A few hours later after we had our drinks, Lee said guys me and spike are going to go now.

Louise said yeah ok and thanks again for coming this afternoon Lee and spike

Lee replied that's ok Louise and take care

Louise said yeah you too Lee.

I replied babe, do you mind if I see Lee and Spike out?

Louise replied no that's fine Jimmy as I gave Louise a kiss on her cheek.

I replied I'll only be a few minutes.

Louise said yeah ok Jimmy

As I saw Lee and spike out I was about to say goodbye to them when Lee said before we go Jimmy I hope you don't mind me asking but how long have you and Louise been together for as I know you only told us a few days ago that you were together.

I replied well it's been nearly three months now Lee.

Lee then said ok, and you've not fallen in love with Louise have you?

I replied don't be daft Lee and what makes you say that?

Spike said I think Lee's right Jimmy every time you mention Louise there's something about the way you look at each other especially when you stood up for her when Kate was here.

Lee said yeah and when you came round to mine you kept talking about Louise and how you were teaching her to run etc.

I didn't know what to say but they were right I was starting to fall in love with Louise but I didn't want to tell her just yet so I took a deep breath and said look guys you're right I am falling in love with Louise but you guys don't think it's too soon do you?

Lee said no it isn't Jimmy.

Spike replied Lee's right Jimmy it's not too soon.

Lee replied so when were you thinking of telling Louise that you're in love with her?

I replied well I was thinking of saying it during a romantic meal at my place

Lee said aww Jimmy, that's a great idea.

I then said listen guys I said to Louise that I'd only been a few minutes and I'd better go back in to see if Louise is ok.

Lee said yeah that's fine Jimmy and keep in touch.

I replied yeah will do and thanks for coming round today.

Lee replied that's ok Jimmy and look after Louise.

After Lee and Spike went, I went back inside and decided I would keep Louise company for the rest of the day.

I didn't want to tell Louise just yet that I had fallen in love with her as neither of us had mentioned the l word yet.

Louise's POV

Whilst I was waiting for Jimmy to come back in after seeing Lee and Spike I washed the cups and put them away.

I then went back into the living room and just relaxed.

A few minutes later Jimmy came in.

I said Jimmy, thanks again for being with me today

Jimmy replied that's ok babe

I replied I don't know what I would've done if you guys hadn't come round this afternoon.

Jimmy said aww babe that's ok and how about I stay with you again tonight and we can snuggle up on the sofa and watch TV?

I replied yeah sounds good jimmy.

Jimmy replied and I'll cook us something to eat later?

I replied are you sure you don't mind?

Jimmy no it's fine babe as he put his arm round me.

A few hours later (it was 6pm), Jimmy said how about I make us some Risotto again?

I replied yeah sounds good Jimmy and I'll get us a blanket from upstairs.

Jimmy replied yeah ok babe as we looked into each other's eyes and kissed.

It was twenty minutes later when the Risotto was ready Jimmy then dished up as we snuggled up on the sofa as we both got stuck in.

After we finished the Risotto, I put the blanket round us as Jimmy put his arm round me as I rested my head on his shoulder.

By this time it was getting late (it was 10.30pm), we then said goodnight to each other when Jimmy said sweet dreams babe.

I replied yeah you too Jimmy.

We then went to sleep.
