Chapter 43 - Running with Jimmy

It was the next day when my alarm went off at 6.30 and it was when Jimmy was going to teach me how to run for the first time as Jimmy was coming round at 7.30am.

I got up at 6.30 in the morning and had a shower before having a light breakfast as I didn't want to exercise on a full stomach.  Whilst having my breakfast I checked my phone and there was a new text message from Jimmy which read Good morning babe, it's nice and sunny and I will see you soon for a jog :) ps don't forget your mp3 player and water.  I replied morning Jimmy, ok and can't wait :)

After I sent a text to Jimmy, there weren't any new text messages from Kate as the last thing I wanted was for Kate to see us running together and not to mention the kiss yet again especially as I told Jimmy everything yesterday but didn't want to think about Kate as this was my first run with Jimmy.

Shortly after having my breakfast, I did the dishes and then got ready and put on my t-shirt and leggings on as well as my trainers.

By this time it 7.20am when the doorbell rang and I went to answer the door.  I opened the door and knew it was Jimmy.  Jimmy said good morning babe and you look great.  I replied Morning Jimmy, you too and asked him in.  We went into the living room when Jimmy asked babe, we need to sort out a playlist of the songs that we want to run to.

I replied ok, so I got my mp3 player and Jimmy asked what songs do you want to run to?

I said anything I don't mind?

Jimmy asked how about some songs from yours truly and some from Blue, A1 and five?  I said yeah sure.

After Jimmy sorted out the playlist on my mp3 player, we made our way to park and as we were walking Jimmy explained that he would take the first session easy and that we would need to do a warm up first, we would walk for a bit, followed by jogging and then running.

Soon after we had our chat, Jimmy said to me, I'll start the warm up and just follow me whilst having the warm up and I replied yeah sure.

Ten minutes after we had the warm up, Jimmy took my hand and said we're going to walk for a bit. I replied ok and as we were walking we looked into each other eyes.

 We had been walking for about 20 minutes when Jimmy said to me, how about we jog for a bit and just follow me.

I replied yeah sure.

I followed Jimmy as he began to jog and it was good way of getting to know him and with the park being so quiet.

We had been jogging for about 15 minutes when Jimmy said to me, how about we start to run now?

I replied yeah sure and we listened to our mp3 players on as we started to run to A1's 'Take on Me'

However after 10 minutes into our run (we stopped listening to our mp3 players at this point)

Jimmy said how we about stop running for a bit as I'd like to show you a quiet place by those trees over there as I come here when I want to have some quiet time.

I replied yeah ok, but are you sure no-one will see us?

Jimmy replied yeah I'm sure and I'm the only one who knows about this place so don't be worrying and besides Kate doesn't know you're out running with me this morning.

I replied yeah you're right as we walked to the quiet place by the tree and we looked into each other eyes and kissed.

Soon after we kissed, we carried on running for a bit and listened to 911's Bodyshakin and half an hour an later after we had our warm down, Jimmy asked babe so what did you of our first running session together?

I replied I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next run as you're such a good teacher.

Jimmy smiled and said awww thank you and thought you picked it up really well as it was your first run with me.

 After we had our run, Jimmy took my hand as he walked me home.
