Chapter 56

It was the next morning when I woke up at 8.30 am (we didn't go running) and realised that I must've slept half way through the film and noticed that Jimmy was still asleep.

As I didn't want to wake him up as he looked so peaceful I gently moved his arm as he had his arm around me I then went into the kitchen.

Ten minutes later Jimmy started to stir and he said morning babe.

I replied morning Jimmy.

Jimmy replied did you sleep well?

I replied yeah I did and would you like a cup of tea?

Jimmy replied yes please as I went to put the kettle on.

Whilst I was waiting for the kettle to boil, I asked Jimmy do you like scrambled eggs on toast?

Jimmy replied yeah sure and are you doing anything later?

I replied no I'm not.

Jimmy said ok and babe whilst I was watching top gun last I was thinking about how about if I take you out for lunch today as since we've been together I've only taken you out for a drink.

I replied aww Jimmy and yeah I'd like that.

Jimmy said ok how about I pick you up then at 12 noon ?

I replied yeah sounds good jimmy.

Jimmy said no problem babe and how about we go to the pub when we first out went together as I know much you loved it.

I replied yeah that's great.

Jimmy replied ok I'll contact Matt later. (Matt was the barman who Jimmy knew and served us at the table when we went for a drink)I replied yeah that's sound good.

A few minutes later, Jimmy said do you need a hand with anything?

I replied no it's ok as I got the plates out etc before setting the table.

By this time both the scrambled eggs and toast were ready as me and Jimmy had our first breakfast together.

Shortly after our breakfast Jimmy said that was great and would you like a hand with the dishes?I replied no it's ok and why don't you make yourself comfy in the lounge.

Jimmy replied yeah ok as we kissed.

After I did the dishes I went into the lounge and sat down next to Jimmy as he put his arm around me as we had a chat.

A few hours later it was nearly 11 am when Jimmy said babe is it ok if I go home and get changed. I replied yeah that's fine and I will see you at 12pm.

Jimmy said ok I'll text you when I'm leaving and I'll call you when I'm outside yours as I don't want you thinking it's Kate again.

I replied yeah ok as we said goodbye to each other.

After Jimmy had gone, I tidied up a bit and I also got myself changed as I still had a bit of time before Jimmy picked me up again.

It was about 11.30 am when my phone beeped with a new message and I knew it would be from Jimmy.

It read hi babe I'm leaving now and I will ring you when I'm outside and looking forward to our lunch

Jimmy replied yeah me too and will see you in a bit :)

After I received the text message I decided to put my hair up and I was now ready to go.

By this time it is nearly 11.50 when my phone rang and I answered it as I knew it would be Jimmy.

I replied hi Jimmy.

Jimmy replied hi babe, I'm outside as I opened the front door for him and let him in.

However, ten minutes later as Jimmy was about to call Matt, the doorbell rang.
