Chapter 60

When Jimmy came back from telling Matt I asked how did it go Jimmy?

Jimmy replied it went really well babe and Matt has reassured me that he won't say anything to anyone.

I replied aww that's good and you two must go back a long way?

Jimmy replied yeah we do and whenever I wanted a chat Matt is a good listener and he asked me if we wanted any more drinks?

I replied yes please and I'll have another glass of wine if that's ok?

Jimmy said babe yeah that's fine and I'll ask Matt when he brings our food.

I replied yeah ok

Fifteen minutes later Matt came with our food and said enjoy guys

We both replied yeah we will

Jimmy then asked, Matt before you go can I order some more drinks please and could we have the same drinks as before please Matt?

Matt replied yeah no problem and I'll bring them over in a bit.

Shortly after we had finished our first course, we looked at the menu and Matt came over and said guys would like a sweet?

Jimmy replied 'ladies first'

I replied I'll have the lemon cheesecake please

Jimmy replied yeah I'll have the same please Matt.

Matt said yeah sure.

Whilst we were waiting for our pudding Jimmy suggested would you like to have a walk to the park after lunch?

I replied yeah sure as it's a nice day.

Jimmy replied ok

Ten minutes later Matt came over with our sweets and drinks.

Matt said enjoy guys and if you need anything else, just let me know.

Jimmy said yeah we will Matt.

A few hours later after we finished our meal Jimmy said, babe would you like another picture of us together?

I replied yeah sure as I have had a lovely day with you Jimmy.

Jimmy smiled and said yeah me too and I'll ask Matt as he now knows about us to take another picture.

I replied yeah ok.

A few minutes later Matt came over and Jimmy said Matt, are you ok to take another pic of us together?

Matt replied yeah sure as Jimmy gave Matt his phone.

Jimmy then got up as he put his arm around me.

Matt then took the picture and said you guys look so good together.

We both looked at each other and said aww thanks Matt.

Matt replied that's ok guys and a few minutes later after Matt went, Jimmy said I'll text you a picture of us together. (I left my phone at home in case Kate contacted me as I didn't want her to ruin my day with Jimmy)

I replied thanks Jimmy.

Jimmy replied that's ok babe.

Shortly after we had our meal and had our picture taken Jimmy then paid for our meal and Matt said it's great to see you both again and take care guys.

Jimmy replied yeah we will and thanks again for earlier Matt.

Matt replied that's ok Jimmy

After we said goodbye to Matt we made our way to the park when Jimmy said how about we go to the tree and then you come back to mine?

I replied yeah ok as Jimmy held my hand.

Whilst we were walking in the park Jimmy said I hope you didn't mind me telling Matt about us as I know you really wanted to tell Kate first.

I replied yeah I know but we needed to tell someone at some stage.

Jimmy replied yeah and as I said to you earlier Matt has reassured me that he won't say anything to anyone and when you feel ready I'll be with you when you tell Kate and I don't want you worrying again.

I replied ok and thanks Jimmy

Jimmy replied that's ok babe and we'll also tell Lee and Spike at the same time and like I said to Matt it's still early days for us.

I said yeah I know as we made our way to the park as it had been a nice day so far with Jimmy.
