Chapter 21 - After Jimmy asked me out

Now that Jimmy asked me out, Jimmy gave me a kiss & said leave it with me & I will find a nice pub for us to go to so we can have a chat and I promise that me and you will take things slowly.  Ok I replied and asked him if he would like a drink.  Jimmy replied yes please and came into the kitchen to give me a hand.

Two hours later, Jimmy said he unfortunately had to go as he wanted to spend time looking for  a nice pub for us to go to.  I'll call you when I get home to make sure you are ok and why don't you have an early night tonight and get some sleep as you look really tired.  Ok I'll have an early night but before you go is it alright if we have another kiss as it will be a few days before we see each other.  Yeah sure, Jimmy replied.  A few minutes after we had another kiss, I walked Jimmy to his car as we said goodbye to each other. 

This would be the last time we saw each other before Jimmy took me out for a drink.

By this time, I was feeling hungry so I made myself some lunch.  Later that afternoon, my phone rang and I said Hello, Hi Louise it's jimmy, just to let you know that I've booked us a table for for 7.30pm and I will pick you up at 7.00pm if that's ok.  I replied, yeah that's fine and thanks.  Jimmy said I can't wait to take you out for a drink and don't forget to get some sleep. !!!!!  I replied, I can't wait either and will get some sleep .

After I spoke to Jimmy I rang Kate asking her if she would like to come clothes shopping with me tomorrow as I told her I was going out with Jimmy for a drink.  Kate replied yeah I'd love to and well done to jimmy for asking you out and will come round tomorrow morning.

Later that day, I realised it was getting late so I sent a text message to Jimmy saying that i was off to bed and I would see him the day after tomorrow from lou :) xx.  A few minutes later my phone beeped with a new text message ' night Louise and hope you have a good sleep Jimmy :-) xx
