Chapter 26 - Drinks at pub - part one

Shortly after leaving my house we made our way to the pub Jimmy asked me if I was looking forward to our night out. I replied yeah I am and really want tonight to go well for both of us. Jimmy replied yeah so do I babe but just remember what I said the other day as I don't want you to be nervous now.

Jimmy's POV

When Louise said she was nervous about tonight, I was also feeling a bit nervous too especially as I wanted to get know Louise better and become more than good friends especially as we had kissed a few times prior to tonight.

That's why I decided to explain to Louise what the pub was like so I could give Louise an idea of the pub we were going to.

Louise's POV

As we were walking, Jimmy explained to me that the pub we were going to go had a relaxing but friendly atmosphere so we could have a proper chat just the two of us. Jimmy also mentioned to me that he used to go there on his own when he wanted a quiet drink and Jimmy said that he knew one of the bar staff that works there.

I asked Jimmy what the pub was like that he was taking me to. Jimmy replied it's very nice inside and you'll love it Louise. I said to Jimmy, I can't wait to see inside and at this point I smiled at Jimmy and he smiled back at me.

We finally arrived at the pub when Jimmy opened the door for me and said 'ladies first'. I said aww thanks Jimmy as we made our way to the bar. A few minutes later Jimmy saw Matt, one of the bar staff that worked at the pub and Jimmy said that he booked a table for us. Whilst Jimmy was speaking to Matt I had a look at the surroundings of the pub for myself and Jimmy was right it was so nice inside. I even noticed that there was an open fire which was surrounded by tables.

Jimmy then introduced me to Matt. Louise this is Matt, Matt this is my very good friend Louise.

Matt said Hi Louise

I replied , hi Matt.

After Jimmy introduced me to Matt, he asked me what i wanted to drink and I said a glass of white wine please so Jimmy ordered a bottle of wine between us. Matt then showed us to our table and said he would bring the drinks over to us. Jimmy pulled out the chair for me to sit down and took my jacket which he put on the back of the chair for me I replied awww, thanks Jimmy, whilst Jimmy sat opposite me.

Our table was in the corner of the pub but it felt so romantic especially with the open fire so close to where me and Jimmy were sitting even though we were there as good friends as we both wanted to get to know each other better.
