Chapter 40

When I arrived home after shopping with Kate, I decided to hang up my t-shirt and jogging pants up ready for when Jimmy was going to take me for a run.                                                             

I then decided to ring Jimmy up and said Hi Jimmy, it’s me, just to let you know that I’ve got all my clothes for running Jimmy replied Hi babe, aww that’s great and we will arrange a time to go running and I can’t wait to teach you.  I replied, thanks again Jimmy I really appreciate it. 

Jimmy replied no probs babe.

It was a few hours later, I decided to watch the TV for a bit and I was about to get myself a drink when my doorbell rang and even though it was early evening I wasn’t expecting anyone.  I went to answer the door and when I saw who it was I surprised to see Jimmy.  I said hi Jimmy and gave him a huge hug that I didn’t want to let him go especially after what happened when Kate started asking me questions about how my night out with Jimmy went.

After I gave him a huge hug, Jimmy said Hi babe, are you ok as you sounded a bit annoyed on the phone?  I invited Jimmy in and he asked me what was wrong?  Before I told Jimmy what was wrong I asked him if he wanted a drink, Jimmy replied yeah sure and I’ll give you a hand and you can tell me everything from the start.  I replied ok.

After we made the drinks, we went into the living room as I started to explain to Jimmy what happened. 

I said to Jimmy, do you remember when you, spike and lee came round to mine with the VIP tickets and in the letter you said I could bring a friend.  Jimmy replied yeah I do.  I then told Jimmy, well I told Kate that I liked you but before we went to the meet and greet and said to Kate that she wasn’t to say anything to you, lee or spike.  Jimmy continued to listen but all I really wanted to do was to hold Jimmy’s hand at this point. 

I took a deep breath and said to Jimmy, well you know when me and you were chatting I noticed that Kate was talking to lee and spike and at the time Kate told me afterwards that she said that she was looking forward to the gig. 

Jimmy replied, keep going.  I then said well the next day in the hotel Kate told me that she had something to tell me and mentioned that she told Lee and Spike that I liked you.

Jimmy said that’s why when you came round to tell me how you felt because of what happened back at the hotel that time.  I said yeah it is. 

Jimmy then asked me, there’s something else that you want to tell me isn’t there?
