Chapter 10 - The day after the gig

After having such a great time at the concert the night before,  I went down for breakfast and noticed Lee and Spike were sitting in the restaurant and at this time I didn't know that they were staying in the same hotel as us.  Lee and Spike noticed me and Kate and said morning girls and we both said morning back.  Lee asked how Kate was and said she was feeling a bit better.  Kate asked where Jimmy was and Spike he had things to do.  as I hadn't my breakfast yet, they left us and went back to their table.

Ten minutes later, the waitress took my order and Kate asked me how the after show party went, Told her it was good and that Jimmy walked me back to the hotel.

Whilst we were chatting the waitress came with my breakfast when Kate said she had something to tell me. I asked what is it?.  Kate paused for a few moments and said when I was chatting to Jimmy before the gig she told Lee and Spike that I liked Jimmy.  I remembered that they were having a good chat but when I asked her at the time she told me that she told them that she was looking forward to the gig.  The last thing I told her before we went to the gig was not to tell spike or lee and especially not Jimmy.

At this point I was getting upset and hurried out of the restaurant and left Kate on her own.  I waited for the lift and wanted to get to my room as quickly as possible.  I finally got to my room and I was shaking too much that I couldn't open the door but eventually I managed to open it.  I put the 'do not disturb notice' on the front of door and locked it.

I ended up crying on the bed and just hugged the nearest pillow as all I wanted to do now was to go home. 

Ten minutes later there was a knock on the door, I said who is it?  It's lee.  I replied go away in a polite voice but Lee kept asking me to let him in but said I didn't want to speak to anyone but lee insisted that I let him in.  I eventually let him in and he asked me what wrong as I think he could tell that I had been crying as Lee and Spike saw what happened in the restaurant.  Lee asked me what was wrong and I went silent and eventually told him that I liked Jimmy.  Lee replied and said he knew as Kate had told him and Spike whilst I was chatting to Jimmy that I liked him before the gig. 

Lee got me a drink of water as I was still shaking at this point but Lee managed to calm down me a bit but I was I so annoyed with Kate for telling them especially after I told her not to.

I sat on end of bed and lee put his arm round me and said that I would need to speak to jimmy and said I know.  Lee suggested that that he tells Jimmy that I like him but this was something I had to do myself sooner rather than later.

Lee then asked if I wanted his phone number in case I wanted him to come with me when I told Jimmy.  He gave me his number but my hands were shaking so much that lee asked me for my phone and did it for me and whilst I finished off my packing.

Lee could see I was still upset so offered to come down to the hotel reception and asked the receptionist to order a taxi for me and waited with me until the taxi arrived and he put his arm around me.

The taxi arrived and Lee said goodbye and said take care and to text him when I told Jimmy.

Whilst I was I in the taxi, my phone beeped and it read 'Hi Louise, hope you get home ok, from Jimmy xx
