I rush back to the dorm to change for the night ahead. I came here fast after a quick dinner to have the dorm to myself. I enter and see Aria laying flat on her bed lifting a book above her with her hands stretched up.
"Hey" I call.
" Hey, just came here to chill before heading back out tonight." Aria mumbles
"Yeah same, I am gonna shower and change"
I walk towards my bed and with each step I remove my black shoes, feeling the hard wooden floor under my socks.
"Hey um.. can I ask you something" Aria asks sitting up.
"Yeah sure" I say as I untuck my shirt from my skirt and loosen my tie.
"What would you say if I told you I smelled a girl in potions today?"
I look at her, her eyes on her book.
"As long as it's not me you are fancying" I chuckle.
She laughs
"No, it's not you. Plus I never said I fancy someone, this is just a hypothesis"
I give her a probing look
"So what are you asking?"
She smiles and goes back to her book. I walk to my trunk to find a new pair of black tight jeans and my Slytherin oversize zip jumper and bring them with me to the bathroom.
The hot water is making goosebumps appear out of pleasure at the feeling of warmth. My feet burn under the sudden contrast from cold floor to hot water.

We bump into Isy on the first steps outside the dorms as we are walking down to the comms.
"Sorry guys, got caught up with some of the Ravenclaw girls after dinner! You go, the others are down in the comms. I'll be two minutes".
I notice Aria hesitating.
"Oh Maeve, umh— I forgot something, I'll meet you down!" and follows Isy back to the dorm.
I give her a thumbs up as I turn back going down the steps and towards the fireplace, on the sofa where Blaise and Nott are sitting. I walk over the fire and extend my hands to warm them. I turn and sit on the arm of the chair with my feet rested on the couch.
"Isy and Aria are coming now" I say.
"Cool" Nott smiles warmly at me and sighs.
" This week killed me"
"Hopefully Aria will be a bae and bring some.. special stuff" Blaise adds continues.
