Maeve:

I wake from a deep sleep, a feeble light caressing my face. I take a breath in and slightly open my eyes. Sight still blurred, I immediately realise I don't know this place. I sit up. The large room is empty but for the bed I am in and a small wardrobe. I take my hand to my temple and bring it back as a sharp pain hits me. My arm burns like fire as my skin moved over the mark.

Yaxley holds me still as I saw Draco being forced back indoors. My heart is racing but my mind needs to stay clear. I try to look brave and raise my head high, although my knees are giving out from fear. Three deatheaters walk towards me in the dark. It's now I realise we've never had a chance, we were always surrounded. I shrug to think of Draco, he was trying to protect me.

I feel a sharp pain on my neck as Yaxley's grip shifts to it. Grayback and the Carrows in front of me.

I hear a horrid voice speak somewhere around me.

"Welcome dear"

I never heard this voice before, but I know now, I know it's him.

He appears floating in front of me. Just like the cloaked man in my nightmares.

His white wand lifting my chin.

"Such a pitty" His voice is like a lament, deep and pained.

He clicks his snake-like tongue and looks down at my arms. He then turns to the rest. His death eaters agree with grunts.

"To think you could escape me?"

He speaks, an evil smile on his sickening face.

"Grayback" He invites.

I can't move. Grayback grabs my arm and lifts it up to his mouth.

"Not this time" Voldemort orders, almost too late.

He stops. I feel a wand pressed against my bare arm.

A greenish liquid substance exits from its tip, and with what feels like a blaze of fire on my skin, I scream, my throat burning. Yaxley's other hand covers my mouth, in attempt to silence me.

The burning stops at once. I stop screaming. The hands on me let go. I am panting. My cheeks are wet with tears. I fall to the ground, on my knees, holding my wrist. I look down and see a blotch of dense black ink slithering under my skin.

I look down at my arm. I feel dirty.

I hear a knock "Hey, are you up? There's breakfast if you want it" A hesitant voice coming from behind the door. It's kind and familiar. Nott.

I don't respond. Why is here? Where am I?

Flashes from last night come to me. Nott took me here, and we have been to my house in London. I remember packing a bag. I remember apparating on a cliff, over the edge of a beach.
