Dazed and confused - (Benny/Pink)

"Uh yes something like that" I scratched my neck. I'm being confronted by literally everyone about Pink tonight.
     "You know what that's cool I'm over it, I got better things to do anyway than sit around all summer thinking about Pink" she says sipping her beer. I'm actually surprised she said that ? I mean she's actually being mature about all this.
      "I'm not saying we're cool but I'll see ya around" Simone said turning around walking towards who I think is Darla. I laughed and rolled my eyes walking back to the guys
       "Don't you guys think Darla is the female version of O'Bannion" I looked at Pink smiling.
     "You know man I think you're right" Slater said and Don nodded.
        "Pickford you stoner" Pink calls out seeing him and Michelle hop out the smoke-filled car with the windows rolled up. Pickford and Michelle start walking over to us
    "They say it'll kill ya but they don't say when....." I chuckle and Slater shakes his head laughing.
         "How's it lookin' for tonight" Pink says
"Got enough weed to forget what day it is" Pickford said smiling.
        "Awwwright" Slater said punching Pickford's arm, I looked at Michelle who smiled back at me. I wonder if it's because she finally realized I didn't like Pickford and he was actually just a good friend all along.
        "Just the man I wanted to see" Darla comes and slaps Wooderson's chest, I look over at her in disgust and look at Pink who notices the face I make and laughs.
      "Let the torture begin" I silently said under my breathe but obviously not to quiet since Michelle nudged my arm and laughed.
      "You got any ?" Darla says and Wooderson hands her a pill and she pops it in her mouth and takes a quick gulp from her beer. She quickly looks at me up and down smirking
      "Did you hear Leanne was fucking Benny yesterday huh ?" She says and Pink put his arm around me catching Darla off guard.
      "That's cool man I guess you got what you wanted right? Me and Benny aren't together so if you think that bothers me it doesn't" I said and rolled my eyes. Pink grabbed my hand and we walked together towards his car to a more quiet place away from the guys.
      "How's  it going baby" he said leaning on his car
"Actually other than Darla trying to start shit it's good, Kaye is trying to help me fix my problems with Jodie but we'll see" I said and Pink smiled at me. He put his hand on my chin and pulled me close, our lips connected and soon my hands made my way to his hair. I pulled away pecking his lips but Pink wanted more
      "One more" he said and he kissed me. I smiled and pulled away
       "When's the last time someone took you out for dinner ?" He said and I looked at him confused.
        "Hmmm" I laughed tapping my chin not remembering.
      "I can't remember" I said and he quickly said
"How about tomorrow night then ?" I smiled and felt my cheeks heat up.
     " I'd really like that" he smiled and you saw his shoulders relax.
        "Great so I'll pick ya up at six then" you nodded and cuddled in his chest.
      "Thought I'd seen you two come out here" I turned to see Benny coming our way and quickly standing in front us.
       "Benny" I said and he nodded, it felt awkward we've never actually been together the three of us like this alone after everything that's happened.
     "I'm a dick I know but I just wanted to know man if we could put all this shit past us and just be cool, I'm not trying to have this summer be shit and not enter senior year without you assholes" he said and I rolled my eyes. I looked at Pink who was already looking at me letting me make the decision
      "Fuck it man it's whatever" I said smirking. Benny smiled and Pink nodded
      "Cool and I smell that reefer on you a mile away boy, Coach Clements is right" Pink rolled his eyes at Benny's comment.
     "Don told you what happened" he said and he nodded.
      "Yeah so did this girl, We can talk about football all summer though and see what happens" he said not knowing where Pink stands with this whole thing.
      "I just want to know who narced on me, I mean why else would they single me out ? It's not like I'm the only athlete in our school that parties." Pink said upset
      "Ahh, don't worry about it fuck what those coaches think." I said and Benny rolled his eyes.
      "Alright then I'll see you guys later" Benny said as he walked away sending me a wink. I don't know if our friendship will ever go back to the way it was but I'm fine with us being cool again.
      "Whatcha think about that huh ?" I turned to Pink yawning.
"As long as your cool with him I am too" he said pecking my lips.
"Well wasn't that fun" he said and you grabbed his hand walking back to the fence where the guys where standing.
"I'm going to go find Kaye and hopefully get to solve this mess with Jodie alright" I said letting go of Pinks hand.
"Mhm later" he said kissing me, I saw Cynthia and Wooderson talking alone and the idea of them together still blows my mind. I'll be seeing them at the concert soon and hopefully get to dig something out.
"Luna" I turned to see Mitch calling my name.
"Hey man how's it going ?" I said noticing Julie holding his hand. I sent her a smile and she did the same.
"It's keen, uh Kaye wanted me to tell you she left with Jodie man said something about her being upset." By the look on my face you could tell I felt guilty
"Alright thanks for telling me" I said and him and Julie kept on walking. I was hoping to talk to her and fix things but maybe it just wasn't going to work out but what did I expect.
