" Anyone care to explain ? " Slavey said looking at the statues covered in paint. We all stayed silent not knowing what to say, I looked down focusing my attention on the ground not wanting to make eye contact with the cops.
" You " I heard the cop say and I looked up
" What's you're name ?" the officer said getting my full attention.
" Luna " I said feeling my palms getting sweaty but I managed to look unbothered. I could feel everyone's eyes on me waiting for me to break
" Are these you're friends ?" He said pointing to the guys.
" Yes sir, well some of them " I said realizing Simone was still here
"Where did the statues come from ? " he said and I had to think of something quick. I straighten myself up a bit putting my arms to my side
" Well actually sir we found them " I said looking over at Pink and Don.
" Found them , where exactly ? " he said making me turn to look at him once again
" Well a couple blocks from here by the highway close to the moon tower " I said smiling at him.
" And y'all decided to pick them up " he said and I was confused as to why he was only asking me.
" Yup " I said putting my hands on the back pocket of my jeans.
" Let's take a ride so you can show me where y'all found them " the cop said pointing at Pink and I could tell he was nervous. We watched as Pink got in the car as we sat down on the sidewalk . The car drove off and the other officer was sitting by Simone and Shavonne talking while Don and Slater were quiet.
    " Luna " Wood said and I turned over to look at him, he was sitting a bit farther from us. He motioned for me to come sit by him and I did
     " What a night " I said sitting by him as I rested my head on my knees.
      " That was a good lie tho"  he said playing with a small pebble in his hands
"I wanted to finish up our conversation " he said making me look up at him.
     " The one we had , you know before Pink interrupted us " and I nodded remembering
     " Oh yeah ! What were you going to tell me ?".
" Look Luna I know Pink is you're friend and all and what I'm going to tell you might make you see him in a different light " he said looking at me and I was confused.
" What do you mean ? I said feeling a small cold breeze pass us by
" Pink has liked you for a while now Luna " he said and I couldn't believe it.
" What ?! " I said putting my hand on his knee
" When did this happen ? " I said letting out a small laugh making wood's lips form a smirk.
" He told me not to long ago , he wanted to get a few things off his chest. He mentioned what happened with you and that dick O'Bannion as well" I shook my head and let out a sigh that I was holding in.
" Now you know why I hate him so bad " I said looking towards the field
" I'm sorry about that Luna " Wood said sending me a small smile.
" You know the funny thing is at that time Pink was the only one comforting me about what happened that I started liking him " I said as I heard the engine of a car.
    " Crazy he said the same thing man " Wood said
" He just never had the balls to tell you and now we'll it's to late " he said and the cop car pulled up.
       " If you think this is going to change my mind about Benny you are so wrong " I said and he put his arms up in defense
     " I just wanted you to know why he was acting a bit weird around you " he let out a laugh and I just rolled my eyes.
    " Mmhm, but Benny is a good guy ! I want you to understand that " I said standing up
      " Be happy for me you loser" I said kicking his shoe before he stood up.
     " I am and I could genuinely see you are so I'll stop " he said as Pink got of the car approaching Don and Slater
     " Thank you " I said as he hugged me.
" You ready to go for a ride " the other officer said standing by the door opening it wide for Don as he started walking towards the cop car.
  " Come on let's go " I turned to look at Pink
" Don't even look at each other " Slavey said in a serious tone as Don got in the car. The officer closed the door and they started driving off
     " What happened ? " I said walking towards Pink , Wooderson behind me.
      " He questioned you man ? " Slater said getting up
" Yeah asking me where exactly we found them , I'm guessing there going to ask Don the same questions as me " he said putting his hands around his hips.
     " It will be okay " I said sending him a smile and he put his arm around me. The sky was starting to become more clear as the sun was coming up once again
      " Let's just hope " he said nodding.

A few minutes passed by and I was ready to go home ! . We heard the car pulling up once again other than that you could hear the police officer singing some shitty song with Simone and Shavonne.
       " Finally ! " I said as the car pulled up in front of us and the police officer made his way over to the cop car. He opened the door and Don came out walking towards us. We all looked tired and lacking of sleep.
   " You're lucky I'm not hauling all you guys in on trespassing chargers " Slavey said and I could see another car pull up next to them.
    " Help me load these in the car " the officer said motioning to the statues
    " It's you're coach man " I said to Pink and Don pointing to the car parked next to the cop car.
     " They really called them " Pink said groaning as he helped them pick up the statues placing them on the trunk of Slavey's car.
    " We'll let the coach handle the rest " the cops said as they started to leave
  " You girls stay out of trouble !" they yelled towards us before driving off. I was relieved they left ! they really just wanted to spook us but it didn't work
    " Floyd! Dawson! Get your scrawny butts over here! " Coach said and well here we go again I groaned  .........
