" It's pretty high up here " I said passing the joint to Slater.
" The moon tower or us man ? " he started laughing and I just nodded my head letting out a small laugh. I leaned on the edge looking down, I keep getting myself into so much shit I thought to myself.
" Stop thinking to much Luna " Pickford said and I looked up at him letting out some smoke, he ended up dropping off Michelle at her house before coming up here.
" There he is " I pointed at Pink who went back to my car to get another lighter, it was just us chillen and honestly these guys always make me feel better.
" Watch your step man " Pickford told Pink trying to spook him just like Mitch, I wonder if his little thing with that girl is going better than what me and Benny had.
" Hey Pink man did you decide on playing football next year ? " Slater asked as Pink made it to the top standing next to me.
" Yeah man hopefully, under my own rules though" he said putting his hands in his pockets.
" Right on man that's what I'm talking about, it's your life you decide " Slater said and I nodded.
" I'm glad you didn't sign that stupid paper like Don and them " I said remembering how much of a big deal that paper was on Friday.
" Had to take Wooderson's advice man " he said passing the new lighter to Pickford

" Mellow out Luna " Pickford said and I let out a sigh
" it's just so fucked up man, like he was worried about me and Pink but he did that " I said and the guys nodded.
" What do you guys think I should do ? " I asked them, at this point I didn't feel like ever talking to Benny again but I knew I was going to at one point. I kinda wish we were back to being friends and keeping our feelings hidden if I knew this would've happened
" Like I think you should just be by yourself, you know ? I'm sorry man but I don't think you guys were meant to be " Slater said. Either he's really high or he actually meant what he just said
" We're in high school Luna, this shit isn't serious man " Pickford said. This isn't just a stupid high school breakup to me though, I really like Benny but this isn't what I want anymore.
" It's getting late " Pink said finally speaking up
" I have to work at 7 " I said dreading getting up so early but at least I get out at 2.
" Let's go " Pickford said and we all started climbing back down, I swear the moon tower holds the best and worst memories ever.

" When you dropped that beer on her head man " Pink said laughing, we all ended up going home but I gave Pink a ride back to his house while Pickford and Slater went there own way.
" That bitch really hates me, but did you see how Simone was checking you out " I said as we approached his house.
" Yeah we ended on good terms, I was a dick to her just how Benny was to you " he said
" I mean I kissed Jodie, I was drunk but I knew what I was doing " he said which reminded me of seeing Leanne and Benny kiss at the moon tower.
" At least you know " I said laughing pulling up to his house. I turned off the car and we sat in silence for a bit
" That Aerosmith concert is this Saturday he said and I nodded.
" I was supposed to go with Benny, first date " I said playing with the rings on my hand.
" I think you guys just rushed in to fast and Luna you know how Benny is I mean he's your best friend" he said. I looked over at him our eyes finally meeting
" I know but I thought it would be different " I said and he nodded.
" I don't blame you " he said being kind towards my feelings.
" I - " he said cutting himself off real quick
" What ? " I said. He looked shy, not the Pink I know but he started leaning in again just like last time
" I really want to kiss you " he said making my heart speed up a bit.
" I can't Pink " I said even though deep down I really wanted to but it felt so wrong knowing what had just happened a few hours ago.
" I know " he said as he started unbuckling his seat belt ready to get off
" Wait " I said pulling him back in. I looked at him and down at his lips, before I knew it I pressed my lips against his. He sat back down and his hands were now on each side of my face while mine were on his chest. Our lips moved together in sync and we finally pulled apart looking at each other.
