" The cops ?! " Jodie said surprised " Yes and that bitch Simone was giving me some dirty looks the whole time " I said rolling my eyes. " I'm guessing she's mad cause you tried to fight her best friend Darla " Kaye said laughing " Yes but you guys know this all started because Shavonne told them what me and Jodie said about them " I brushed my hair to the side. " What the hell why ?! , I'm going to call her out next time I see her " Jodie said upset " She through us under the bus and saved her ass , she obviously didn't mention the part where she called them both sluts " I said and Kaye nodded. " I got to split I'm going to hang with Benny " I said smiling like a dork as I got up " Ooooh call me after ! " Jodie said laughing " I might see Pink as well he's dropping off the tickets for Aerosmith you want me to tell him something " I said my hand on the doorknob. " Just tell him I said hi " she said and let out a chuckle as I opened the door " Alright peace " I said stepping out and closing the door bumping into Mitch. " Wow you okay ? " I said facing him " Sorry Luna I'm meeting up with Carl and the guys right now and I'm not trying to get caught by O'Bannion " he said pinching the bridge of his nose " Dude chill you'll be okay " I said patting his shoulder as we both made our way towards the front door. " I doubt he'll be looking for you guys anyway " I said as Mitch opened the door " Yeah you're right " he said as we stood by my car. " Want a ride ?" I said opening the door before climbing in " No I'm walking, we're all meeting up at Carl's house " he said and I nodded " Alright be careful I'll see ya later " I said backing up and driving away as Mitch waved bye. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I pulled up in the drive way noticing my mom's car was parked there as well. "Mom " I yelled as I closed the door behind me " In the kitchen " she said as I put my bag down by the door " I feel like I haven't seen you in forever " I said hugging her. " let's have dinner mañana? No voy a trabajar " she said and I nodded " Okay , pero yo pago " I said and she smiled at me as she got a glass of water " Also I forgot to tell you , I'm hanging out with Benny in a bit " I said and she nodded. My mom never had a problem with Benny she knew we were best friends " Okay just don't stay out to late you work tomorrow morning " she said reminding me of the reality of life. " I won't " I said as I looked out the window seeing Benny's truck pulling up " Benny's here ! " I said smiling as I turned to hug my mom before saying bye. I closed the door behind me and walked towards Benny's truck " Benny " I said smirking as I opened the door climbing in. " Luna " he said making me laughing as he motioned for me to move closer to him and I did. He put his hand under my chin and gave me a kiss biting my lip as we separated. " Where we going " I said smiling at him as he started driving "My place , my parents left for the weekend " he said smiling as he looked out the window " So many things we could do then " I said smirking and he put his hand on thigh. " We have all the time " he said reminding me of our conversation we had at the emporium " Don said Pickford is throwing a party tonight " he said . " I did see his parents packing up when I drove to Jodie's house " I said looking at him " You want to come with me ? " he said looking at road , he was wearing his blue hat and a random t-shirt but still managed to look so good.

" Is that a yes ? " he said catching me staring and I looked away " Yes of course " I said blushing. " You are so shy " he said laughing and I turned to him " But last nigh-" I covered his mouth with my hand. " Stop ! Not this again " I said and he licked my hand making me remove it as we laughed together " I'm just saying , who would've thought " he said and I swear I was probably as red as a tomato. " Did you're mom get mad at you for coming home so late " he said as we pulled in his driveway arriving at his house " She never found out I came home late , she worked a full shift " I said as I got out his truck closing the door gently. " I actually met up with some of the girls and guys before heading home " I said making my way towards his side as he got off " Who ? " he said as he closed the door intertwining our hands as we walked towards his house. " Don, Slater , Pink , Wooderson, Simone and Shavonne " I said as we entered his house making our way to his living room " What did y'all do ? " he said as he sat on the sofa patting it for me to come sit with him " They smoked a blunt I just watched and had a few laughs " I sat down next to him and put my legs on top of his. " Eventually the cops came and you're coach " I said laughing " Why ? " he said moving his hand up and down my thigh. " Trespassing but the cops recognized Don and Pink so they decided to call the Coach to deal with it all " I said " Pink finally told coach Conrad off though " Benny looked up meeting my eyes. " So he finally made up his mind I guess " he said sighing " Yeah he basically told him he might still play some ball but under his rules throwing the paper back him " I said as Benny shook his head. " He really is fucking things up for us " Benny said removing his hat " He's going to play Benny he just doesn't want to feel like he can't have fun while doing it " I said running my hands through his curls. " I told him to have fun but to not fuck up his future , we have to grow up at some point " I said " I think he's afraid " Benny said " Aren't we all " I said smiling at Benny and climbed on top of him both legs on either side of him. " Enough about Pink ! He'll play and have fun , it's just these rules are fucked up aren't they ? " I said as Benny grabbed my waist. " I'll agree with you on that , it's just sometimes we do need a bit of discipline to remind us what matters" he said pushing a loose strand of hair from my face " I know babe but eventually it'll all work out " I said leaving a small kiss on his lips which turned into a make out session.
