" It's a bit to late isn't it " Pink said breaking the silence
" Wrong timing Pink " I said looking out the window seeing people pass us bye.
" I know " he sighed and I looked over sending him a smile
" I love you Pink, If you would've spoken up back then it would've been a lot different" I said and he nodded. He turned to look at me, we stared at each other for a second before his eyes went to my lips and that's when he started to lean in
" You like Jodie not me " I said placing my hand on his chest pushing him back a bit.
" I'm sorry Luna, I don't think I know what I want " he said playing with his car keys avoiding eye contact with me 
" You know I'm dating Benny Pink don't fuck up our friendship " I said and he nodded.
   " Take some time and think about what you want. I think you're confusing you're feelings towards me " I was the only one listening to Pink and showing how much I cared about him through this whole ' Should I play football ' thing other than Wooderson.
    " You're right " He said looking back at me as I nodded
" Let's go back inside ?" I asked him as I began opening the car door.
" I'm going to wait on Simone to get here " he said
" Alright" I said as I stepped out the car and closed the door
" Luna we're cool right " he called out as I began walking.
" Always " I said as we smiled at each other, I turned around making my way inside the party.
I made my way through the crowds of people that were either smoking, drinking, dancing , or making out.
    " It's casual " I looked to my right seeing Shavonne talking to some random guy and I'm guessing it's about Don
    " Luna " I looked up seeing Melvin sipping on some bear
" Hey man " I said as he handed me a beer, I began drinking it searching for Benny in the crowd.
" Where's Benny ? " I said, Him and Melvin are usually together all the time
" Oh he's in the back with Don and the rest of the guys " he said
" Let's go " I heard him say as I followed behind him in the crowd of people. We finally approached the guys there was Don, Wood and sitting beside Benny was Jodie
" What's happenin' " Melvin said as the guys turned to look at us. Benny's eyes followed mine as I sat on his lap and kissed his cheek
" Alright Alright Alright " Wooderson said happy to see me
" I got you're tickets in my car doll " he said to me
" Sweet ! I'll get em later man " I said smiling at him as he sent me a wink.
" What's the skinny ? " I said looking over at Jodie as I took a sip from my beer
" Here's the skinny " Jodie said standing up.
" Pink likes you right ? " She said and I was confused as how she found out
          " Huh ?" I said pretending to not know what she was talking about.
    " You weren't going to tell me ? And you were over here calling Shavonne fake" she said placing her hands on her hips. I looked at the guys who were as confused as I was.
    " Cool it she's with me " Benny said and I turned to look at him. Did he tell her ? I mean how did she find out
" Jodie I don't like Pink " I said standing up as well.
" I heard Benny and Don talking about it " she said, I turned to Benny and Don who just sat there in silence
" Well I clearly don't like Pink I'm with Benny " I said pointing at him
" Oh get real ! I saw you with Pink in his car" she said in a harsh tone.
"What ?" Benny said caught of guard by Jodie's comment
" Alright chill out man , let's just have a good time " Wooderson said trying to calm us down.
" Like we were just talking nothing happened " I said looking at Benny and back to Jodie.
" You weren't going to tell me he likes you " she said and I felt so bad
" I didn't know how , he doesn't like me he's just confused on what he wants " I said moving a strand of hair out my face. I felt uncomfortable and Benny was mad at me I could tell
" You're always defending him " Benny said snapping me out of my thoughts as I turned to look at him.
   " He's my friend " I said my heart was beating fast, was he not on my side ?
    " I'm just keepin' it real " he said and I rolled my eyes, were we really going to argue again like last night.
  " Dude I was just there to talk to him about all this " I said no longer upset but frustrated
    " Benny man she's just being a good friend " Wooderson said defending me.
          " Are you really questioning me or us right now ? " I said to Benny as he stood up standing next to Melvin
    " Maybe we should've stayed friends " he said before walking the other way fading into the crowd. I stood there with my heart broken and a half empty beer can in my hand
     " I'll go talk to him " Melvin said following after him. I turned to Jodie who was standing there not expecting Benny to say that
     " Is that what you wanted " I said and she stayed silent as I took a seat on the couch where Benny was sitting.
   " Go find Shavonne or something " Don said and Jodie looked at him before quickly turning around and walking away. I wasn't going to cry I didn't feel like it
" Look Luna I'm sorry man " Wooderson said sitting next to me as Don stood in front of us
    " You were right Wood " I said placing my beer on the floor.
    " He just needs to cool off man " he said lighting up a cigarette and passing it to me but I shook my head not in the mood to smoke. I looked around the crowd of people spotting the last person I wanted to see right now.
    " Fuck is that O'Bannion " I said making the guys look over to where I was looking at
    " Yeah that's him " Don said and I shook my head, I really wanted to go home right now.
