The guys ended up coming back and we were all standing outside talking when the girls pulled up as well .
" hey guys what y'all doing out here " Jodi said approaching us, behind her was Kaye and Shavonne.
" Nothing just talking " pink said walking towards her and leaving me with Mitch.
" what are you doing here ?" She pointed at Mitch
" nah it's cool I invited him " pink motioned towards Mitch who had a grin on his face .
" we just saw Benny and O'Bannion" she said looking towards me.
" oh really i haven't seen him since this morning" I looked away ughh I was right , why does he pretend to like that asshole.
  " there they are " I turned my head and saw O'Bannion pulling up.
" Hey, Slater, you fuckin' hippie, gimme drugs, man!" He yelled I saw Melvin getting out the car and there was benny.
" Get some from your mother, man" I heard Slater call out as I walked towards Benny.
" Why you hanging with this loser ?" I asked
" Why you hanging with those morons " he pointed at Slater and Pickford who were high as a kite.
" there my friend's you dick " I shook my head and walked towards the emporium , I hated how he talked bad about them and I knew he didn't mean it in a playful way .
" you pulling a pink on me ?" He tried to grab my hand and I pushed him off
" I see some of O'Bannion rubbed off on you " I said and continued walking.
   " hey man I'll be back , don't let that bitch talk to you like that " I didn't bother to turn around and waste my time on O'Bannion.
" hey watch it that's my girl " I heard Benny say and my stomach was full of butterflies. He makes it so hard to be mad at him .
" what's that about ?" Pink asked as I leaned on the wall by Jodie.
" nothing just Benny being an asshole " i shook my head and Jodie put her hand on my shoulder to reassure me it was going to be okay . Benny made his way towards us
" whats up man " Benny said greeting the guys as if nothing happened . I tried my best to ignore him , this isn't our first argument the last one was about me telling him to stand up to his dad and that didn't end well. Melvin soon got him to go in the emporium to play some pool
  " I'll go talk to him " Jodie said and I just nodded walking towards Don.
" I have never seen you this mad " don said
   " yeah man what happened " Wooderson looked at me .
   " eh I don't want to talk about , I'll be okay " I sent them a smile to reassure them that I'll be fine
   " don't let him ruin you're night man , we haven't seen you this happy in a while " Wooderson said and I just nodded , I know me and Benny will work it out out anyway .
     " What have you been up to? " don asked Wooderson Changing the conversation and I'm glad he did .
    " Same old shit, man. Workin' for the city "
"Workin' man, huh? " don said.
I kept on thinking if I should go inside and pull Benny out to talk . I shook my head , I'm not giving in so easily and Jodie is in there talking to him anyway.
  "You're a freshman, right? " he turned towards Mitch
   "Yeah" I looked towards him this time I was really distracted with Benny wasn't I .
"So tell me, man. How's this year's crop of freshman chicks lookin'?" Ughh I'm not surprised I know some girls that have gotten a taste already .
  "Wood, you're gonna end up in jail sometime really soon." I looked at don and nodded
"No, man. No, let me tell you. That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age."  I loved Wooderson but man he can be gross
   " now that's wrong " I said shaking my head
" it's also sad how easy these girls are "
  " that's what I like about Luna you respect you're self  " Wooderson put his arm around me .
   " yeah man you should to " he took his arm off me and they all started laughing earning a few ooh and she told you man ! From pink and Benny .
" you know I love you Wooderson " I nudged him , he smiled down at me .
" I know , You smart ass " I just laughed at his comment .
"You guys wanna go for a spin? " Pickford asked and out came Benny from the emporium like if it was planned . He approached me and the guys
"Yeah. Shotgun! " don said .
" Woods , Luna you coming ?" I looked at Pickford and back at Benny.
"I'm here, man" Wooderson nodded
"You gonna come along?" He pointed at pink and Mitch
"Uh, yeah. Why not? " was i in or was I out .
" Luna let's talk " I didn't realized Benny was right in front of me I guess I was a bit distracted.
" last call for Luna " Pickford called out .
" maybe later , right now I want to hang out with my loser friends " I looked up at Benny and walked towards the car .
" Y'all have fun now " Wooderson said moving towards Benny .
I loved Benny but I want him to have a taste of his medicine For once . He didn't talk to me for 3 days when we fought last time.
" Listen, I'm gonna give you shotgun. But I want you to know it's only 'cause I'm goin' inside " Slater told don earning a chuckle.
" alright you made you're point now let's go and talk " Benny grabbed my arm this time.
" we can talk when I come back , let me live a little I'm having a good time " I looked up at Benny I wanted to be mad at him but I still wanted to let him know I cared. I quickly pecked his cheek to let him know were cool no matter what .
" be careful I'll be waiting " he kissed my forehead this time and I turned around to get in the car . I was probably red as a tomato and I couldn't help but feel my heart skip a beat.
" Benny man you got Luna blushing like crazy " don called out as we started driving off .
" Don ! " I kicked his seat .
" what's the deal with that Luna " Pickford asked
" idk man , he said something that didn't sit well with me and now I'm punishing him for it " I said .
" last time y'all fought he had you going crazy "
pink said .
" I know i don't blame him tho, sometimes I need to keep mouth shut " I pretended to zip my mouth
" what did y'all argue about " Mitch said looking my way .
" his dad " the car became silent
" oh Luna " pink said shaking his head , he knew how bad Benny's dad could me .
" I just don't want him to be like his dad you know , he gets mad cause I want to have some fun all of sudden" I let out a shaky breath .
" you'll be okay " pink patted my shoulder
" yeah it will work out cause you love him " don said in a girly voice and all the guys laughed.
" yes thank you don please let the whole world know " I said as we started driving by some neighborhood and don laughed
"Pull over to the trash here" and the fun begins .
