Dazed and confused - (Benny/Pink)

Take it easy

" Why, yes, it is " Mitch said turning to Jodie .
" Have you had more than one of those tonight? " she asked him
" A few , Nobody's counting " he said and I just laughed .
" Hey " Jodie said looking over at Julie
"Hey, how's it goin'? " she said smiling back at us .     " You might as well just get used to being at the same social functions as him , huh? " I said looking over at Mitch smiling
" And, uh, hangin' out with people I know? " she said pointing towards Julie .
  " Hey, what time are you supposed to be home anyway? " Jodie was a bit overprotective with Mitch since he's only 14
" Oh, geez, I don't know. Couple of hours ago " Mitch said and I felt someone's arm wrap around my shoulder.
" That's bullshit. That's major bullshit " Jodie said , I looked up to see O'Bannion . I pushed his arm off and moved to the side away from Jodie and the girls  .
   " What do you want ? " I said looking up at him
" So now that you aren't with Benny maybe we can finish we're we left off that night " he said with a grin on his face , I looked over to the girls hoping they would notice that I needed help but they were to focused talking to Mitch .
    " We ? Fuck off , we didn't leave off anywhere ! You pushed me in the bathroom and tried to force yourself on me " I said turning around but he ended up grabbing my arm making me face him again .
    " Oh you are such a bitch ! " he said and I just rolled my eyes trying to get his hand off me
   " You know what , I spiked Benny's drink  and made that chick Leanne go mess with him  " I looked at him shocked
     " What the fuck ?! " I said and he finally let go of me .
   " I just want you for myself " he said smirking , I wanted to throw up at how disgusting he was  .
      " I'm not yours ! Never will be ! " I said pushing him back a bit walking back to Kaye and Jodie .
    " Don't think for a minute... she's not gonna be waiting up for you " Jodie said looking towards Mitch . I couldn't believe how desperate O'Bannion could be ! I mean he spiked his own friends drink . That wasn't my Benny I thought to myself but I was still mad he kissed her even though he wasn't aware of what happened .
" I've been through it. And she's tough " Jodie said as I looked towards them
" Yeah, well... Just don't ask her to take it easy on me, please " I looked around trying to find Benny "What's that supposed to mean? Take it easy on him?  " Jodie said confused .
     " Who you looking for ? " Kaye said noticing how distracted I was
            " Benny " I said looking towards them
" Are you going to confront him ? " Jodie said , I haven't really thought about what I was going to say .
      " That's the plan " I said crossing my arms
" I'm going to go find him , I'll see you guys later ? " I said
      " I think we're going to head out actually " Jodie said turning to Kaye .
    " Alright ! I'll see you at you're house tomorrow around 3 " I said
          " Okay ! Stay safe " they said as I turned around looking for Benny once again . This whole night has basically been me looking for Benny and at this point I felt like he should come to me . I sighed thinking about it but I shook my head and continued walking hoping to see him .
      " Hey pink ! " I said walking towards him , he was talking to Mike .
" Hey gorgeous " he said putting a smile on my face .
        " Hi haha , have you seen Benny ? " I said looking at him . He turned around and pointed towards the keg and to the right was Benny and Mel sitting on his truck .
    " Thanks " I said looking back at pink going in for a hug .
   " You want me to go with you ? " he said and I just shook my head 
     " No it's fine I can deal with it " I said before walking towards Benny .
   " I'm always here for ya " pink said and I looked back smiling at him . I used to have a thing for Pink a while back but I never thought twice about it . Pink was the only one comforting me about the incident with O'bannion , I started thinking he liked me but I was wrong . Around that time Benny was talking to multiple girls and I guess hooking up with Leanne . My heart belonged to Benny even if he already broke it , I finally approached the guys and I could tell Benny was gone
    " Benny , let's talk " I said looking up at him a beer in his hand . He started to get up almost falling down but was able to sit back down quickly
" Whoa are you okay " I said climbing on the back of the truck next to him .
" I'm sorry " he said looking at me in the eyes , his blue hat still on his head and he looked so adorable . If I wasn't upset I would've kissed him
" Let's just talk about it tomorrow when you're sober okay ? " I said looking at him and he nodded .
" Melvin can you drive him home please " I turned to him .
" Yeah no problem " he said getting up trying to help Benny off the truck and inside . I looked around and people were starting to leave since there wasn't any beer left . I got down from the truck turning around to see Benny getting down as well
" Here , put you're arm around me " I said and he did . We walked towards the side of his truck and I opened the door
" C'mom get it in " I said as he started climbing in the passengers seat , he turned to look at me once again grabbing my hand .
" I'm so sorry baby " he said and my heart broke at his words
" You're okay " I said leaning in and kissing his cheek and I felt his arms wrap around me . I heard the side door open and Melvin climbed in ready to start the truck , I didn't want to let go
" I'll see you tomorrow okay ? " I said helping Benny put his seatbelt on and closing the door . I backed away a bit so they could start heading out
" Wait ! " Benny yelled looking out the window and I got closer to him once again
" Do you still like me " he said . I opened the car door and grabbed his face giving him a kiss on the lips
" Always " I said and he looked up at me smiling like a dork . I closed the door again and I swear my heart was going to jump out of my chest .
  " Get home safe okay " I said as they started backing up and leaving , I could never be mad at him I love him to much and that scared me even more . I started heading back over to Pink and the rest of the guys with Benny on my mind .
     " Luna " I heard wooderson call my name and next to him was Cynthia and the guys . I laughed a bit not expecting to find them together
    " Where have you been doll " he said giving me a hug leaning back on his car . I looked over to Cynthia seeing her write down something on a notepad
    " You don't even want to know " I said looking back at wooderson laughing .
