Dazed and confused - (Benny/Pink)

First date ?

" I think we should take it slow " he said and I just stood there in front of him not knowing what to say.
    " We rushed into it fast " he said looking at me
" We liked each other for the longest Benny " I said confused, are we really over ?.
          " Yes and I don't want to let you go, I'm just saying we need to take it slow " he said playing with his car keys
       " Are you breaking up with me ? " I said scared of his response. He sighed and shook his head
    " No you're my girl, Luna I like you a lot. I'm sorry for being jealous " he said and I felt butterflies in my stomach once again
     " Alright so let's take it slow " I said a smile forming on my lips. Benny grabbed me by my hips pulling me closer to him resting his head on the crook of my neck
        " You look beautiful " he whispered in my ear. I swear I was blushing like crazy, I laughed at his comment
        " Let's go inside ?" I asked him but he shook his head.
    " I just fought O'Bannion and I really don't want to see him, plus Pink's in there " he said kicking a rock on the ground
" Moon tower ? " I said. Some of our best memories happened there
" Hop in babe " he said opening the door
" I'll take that as a yes " I said as I got in the truck scooting over to the passengers side. Benny closed the door and started the truck
" Wait , should we tell them we're going to split ?" I asked turning to look at him as he began turning on the radio.
" Nah their wasted, I'll call Don in the morning " he said and I nodded. Tush by ZZ Top started playing as Benny started driving, I turned the radio up a bit more and put my window down. I started dancing feeling the air hit my face making Benny laugh
" I ain't asking for much " I sang feeling Benny's eyes on me. I turned to look at him, he had a smirk on his lips and began moving his head to the beat and I laughed as he sang along with me
" Aerosmith " I said turning the radio down.
" What about it ? " he said looking at the road ahead of him
        " Come with me ? " I asked him. He smiled and nodded
      " Are you asking me out on a date " he said making me laugh
      " We are taking it slow, So ?" I said.  First date at an Aerosmith concert sounds good to me
    " You're the coolest girl I've ever met " he said and I leaned in to kiss his cheek.  Benny had a smirk on his face as I sat back down looking out the window.

" The moon is so bright " I said climbing out the truck as Benny opened the trunk. I walked over to him climbing on top taking a seat next to him.
" Bitch'n" he said and I turned to look at him, he looked so cute
" What's up with Jodie ?" Benny asked putting his arm around me.
" She likes Pink ...... so she was upset with me because she heard you guys talk about how he likes me and when she saw me and Pink in the car, she got the wrong idea " I said swinging my legs.
     " Did you guys talk ? " he said and I nodded
" We did I made it clear to her I don't like him, he's just confused " I said.
     " He broke up with Simone " I looked at Benny
" Because of you ? " he said placing his hand on my thigh
    " Nah he wasn't into her anymore, he was always flirting with Jodie in class. I guess he just realized he liked me since I've been listening to him the most about this 'not playing football ' thing " I said. Benny shook his head
    " Luna he's liked you ever since that incident with O'Bannion, you guys were super close I remember " he was right.
     " It doesn't matter , It was bad timing back then and it still is now because I've always liked you " I said
     " Mhm prove it then " he said smirking. I placed my hand on his cheek and sat up a bit, I looked at his eyes and down at his lips before leaning in and kissing him. I disconnect my lips from him smiling like crazy
      " How was that ? " I asked him
" Eh it was okay " he said and I looked up at him and he started laughing
   " I'm just playing baby " he said hugging me as he started leaving kisses on my face and neck, I couldn't help but laugh.

We were driving back to Benny's house after hanging out at the moon tower for a bit.
" Remember yesterday at the emporium when you bumped into me ? When you were high ?" Benny said out of nowhere. I laughed just thinking about how embarrassing that was, I literally said I liked him
" Yes " I said blushing.
" Why did Pickford say you liked him ? " he said looking at me and back at the road
" Benny are you jealous ? " I said a smirk forming on my face as I turned to look at him.
" Maybe I am you know " he said and I rolled my eyes
" Ugh okay let me make it it clear then" I said and he looked at me once again.
" Me and Pickford know each other for as long as I can remember, before he even dated Michelle " I said as we stopped at a red light
" Yes I liked him but I wouldn't call it that just a small crush" I said as the light turned green.
" I hear you " Benny said his eyes focused on the road
" He started dating Michelle and we just stopped hanging out like we used to. I got high yesterday and it slipped out my mouth, that's also why Michelle doesn't like me cause we used to hang out a lot " I said and Benny nodded.
" We actually talked about it today " I said noticing we were close to his house
" And what happened ? " he said
" Well after you fought O'Bannion I went upstairs to clear my head about what just happened, I went inside Pickford's room and he came in while I was there" I looked over at Benny who was silent.
" He told me why you fought him and we talked a bit about how we missed hanging out, we started play fighting like we used to when he asked me why I never told him I liked him" I said
" Play fighting ?" He asked
" Yeah and I told him I didn't want to ruin our friendship, Benny It was just a stupid crush and we agreed to hangout more like old times " I said as we pulled into his driveway finally arriving at his house.
" I don't want you play fighting with anyone that's not me " he said and I laughed.
" Pickford is trying to make you like him or some shit " he said
" I'm serious, that shit usually ends up with a kiss " he said and I could tell he was serious
" He's dating Michelle " I said. I felt like I fucked up I didn't see any wrong in it since he's my friend. We've always messed around like that even in front of Slater and Don, they used to come over and smoke with him. But the more I thought about it I realized what he meant, It didn't look right especially since I'm dating Benny
" I fucked up didn't I ? I'm not good at this girlfriend thing " I said sighing.
" Luna you're okay you dork, wouldn't you be mad if that was me and Jodie play fighting " he said and I laughed just thinking about it
" Fuck you're right, like what if you or Michelle walked in while we were fighting you would've got the wrong idea" I said looking at Benny.
" Right I would've kicked his ass as well " he said smiling and I just rolled my eyes laughing at him
" That's hot " I said making him laugh
" C'mon let's go inside " he said and we began getting of the truck and heading inside his house.
