Don and Pink ended up leaving after a while, said something about going to the emporium tonight " See ya Steve " I said waving goodbye to my boss as the door closed behind me. The sun was setting and I was exhausted, I got in my car and turned the radio on as I drove home. I was blasting some Aerosmith while my mind went to Benny wondering what he was doing or who he was with, I really hope Wooderson was wrong and he wasn't with that chick. I passed Pickford's house, the lights were off and his car was gone so I'm guessing he's at the emporium as well. I pulled up to my driveway happy to be home ,I haven't had dinner with my mom in a while " Mom I'm home " I said opening the door and dropping my bag on the floor. " I'm in the kitchen " she said, I passed the mirror to take a quick look at myself and I looked a mess " How was work " she asked as I took a seat at the table " It was okay, the guys came by" I said pouring myself a glass of water. I grabbed my bag and headed out the door once again. I drove pretty fast and made it to Jodie's, she didn't live that far away from me anyway " You left without saying goodbye yesterday " she said climbing in the front seat. " Sorry I left with Benny, we worked it out " I said smiling but that quickly faded away remembering what Darla said " You missed me throwing my drink at that bitch Darla" she said and I quickly looked over at her. " No way man ! What happened ?! " I asked, I really missed that " Dude she was drunk, she was still upset about what we said" I let out a laugh " Did you end up talking to Shavonne ? " I asked. I mean she did tell them what we said, she should at least feel bad. " She said sorry but it's whatever, just told her to keep it real with us " she said and I nodded, we finally pulled up to the emporium " Did ya hear that rumor Darla's been going around saying " I said as I parked " No duh " she said and I laughed. " It's not true by the way " I said getting of the car and grabbing my bag " I know, you would never do that to Benny like c'mon you've liked him since forever " she said. We began walking towards the emporium and my heart was beating fast, I know Benny is in there because his truck was parked outside " Luna! Jodie ! " Don said as we walked in. I sent him a smile " Donny " I said hugging him quickly looking over at Benny playing some pool with Wooderson. I walked over to them leaving Don and Jodie to talk about Shavonne " What's Happenin' ? " I said leaning on the pool table " Luna girl " Wooderson said sending me a wink. I looked over at Benny who had a smirk on his face " Let's go talk " he said looking at me, he walked in front of me and I followed behind " Luna ! " I looked over to see Pickford and Michelle. " Hey man ! I'll be back " I said turning around and making my way outside with Benny. Same place as last time expect I was high and told him I liked him " Pink told me everything " he said " You guys talked ? " I said swaying back in forth. " Yeah, he knew he messed up and apologized " I let out a sigh of relief knowing he didn't believe Darla. " So like you guys are cool now ? " I said and he nodded " Yeah we are " I felt like Benny was being a bit cold towards me. " What about us " I said looking at him, he had a smirk placed on his lips and pulled me close to him " You're my girl " he said making me smile. " Sorry I didn't say anything about what happened" I said feeling as I should've been honest from the begging. " It's okay, you don't always have to tell me everything" he said which reminded me what Don said at work, about what Wooderson saw earlier. " Not to be a bitch and ruin this moment, but why were you with that chick from the moon tower ? " I said looking up at him.
