Dazed and confused - (Benny/Pink)

Don, give the beer back, man !

"Hey, guys, pull over to that one over there" pink said smashing the mailbox with the trash can .
"Got it! Go! Go! Yeah! Yeah! " Pickford sped up Before anybody came and caught us
  "Bowling ball. Throw the bowling ball" eyes were suddenly on me
  " what are you crazy ! I can't" I know we were having fun but I still felt bad if I did it .
    " Mitch you do it " don said
  "Yeah. Think I should?"  I shook my head saying no
" Yeah. Throw it. Throw it. "  Pickford and don started convincing him to do it
  " You don't have to , eventually one of these losers will do it " I told Mitch and he picked up the bowling ball and threw it at the car finally giving in .
   The car became silent
"You're nuts, Junior! You're nuts! " Pickford said and I just shook my head and laughed .
  "Hey, man, we're outta beer. We gotta make a Grab-'N'-Go stop" don said looking back at us .
I didn't even realize they were sipping on some beer  the whole time.
  We Pull up with no money
   " hey man I don't like this " I told don as he started getting out
"Are you gonna hoist it " pink said
    "It'll be fine , all I need's the freshman as a lookout" ughh I started regretting coming with them " Better be careful... Junior" Pickford said and Mitch got out the car following Don . When I hanged with the guys it usually ended up with us getting in trouble by someone .
  " Luna take a hit " Pickford passed the joint to me
And I looked at pink
" hey man maybe later " pink said taking the joint and passing it back to Pickford , he knew I didn't want to smoke . We could hear don and Mitch running back to the car after a few seconds
"gotta get outta here, man!Let's go! Come on. Let's go! " Pickford was about to start driving when suddenly a man opened his door and pointed his gun right at his face .
"Oh, my God " I said and pink covered my mouth "Don't try anything, or I'll shoot the shit outta you" My heart was beating fast and this time it wasn't because of Benny.
"Don, give the beer back, man " Pickford turned to don you could see the panic in his eyes
"I paid for the beer, man" oh fuck ! I turned to pink motioning to the gear shift but he just shook his head.
"You busted my mailbox, didn't you? Look me in the eye, punk! " his gun pointing at all of us now
" what are y'all doing with this young lady at this hour, I will call the police " he said
" I don't know what you're talking about sir , she's our friend man i suggest that you... " Pickford was saying but was cut off as he closed the car door slowly.
" You busted it, didn't ya Now I done called the police. Get out  " he started to open Pickford's door again when I leaned in and pushed the gear shift
" Just go, man !" I yelled and he started driving
"Go, go, go, go, go! " Don said we turned around
"Get down! He's shooting at us! " pink pushed me and Mitch down . We started driving back to the emporium and my heart rate was starting to go back to normal.
" Luna , hey man I'm sorry about that " Pickford said quickly turning to look at me. I let out a laugh and the guys were surprised
" pass me the joint man " I said
"Are you sure you're okay ? " don looked at me
" I'm fine man " I said sending him a smile .
     " Mitch you good ? " I heard pink ask
" I'm cool " I turned to Mitch who had a grin on his face , no longer in panic like I was
" Alright then ! Turn the radio up and let's have some fun " pink said . Sweet emotion started playing as I took my first hit and passed it down to Mitch .
" I don't think I've met anyone as cool as Luna " don turned around and patted my leg
" that's what I'm talking about " Pickford said giving me a nod
" I haven't felt this good in a while " I turned to pink who had a smile on his face. Tonight was way different from the other times we hanged . I felt like myself more than ever , I always felt the pressure to do good in school that I didn't want to fail anyone and having O'bannion around always had me feeling uneasy. We finally made it back to the emporium and I couldn't stop laughing
" man what did we do to Luna " don said
" she's high ass hell " Pickford said laughing.
" how many hits did you take ? " don asked me
" oh man I forgot to pass it around after a while " we all began to laugh this time .
" Ive been missing out " I said thinking of the times I said no to Slater when he offered me a joint .
" hey man did I ever tell you how I liked you " I poked Pickford's chest and pink quickly grabbed my hand.
" alright let's go inside " he motioned towards the door . Oh fuck I have to talk to Benny I thought to myself
" wait you liked me " I shook my head standing by the entrance facing Pickford
" no I like Benny " I turned around and bumped into someone .
" uhh hey Benny " I heard don say , I quickly turned my head looking at pink mouthing the words fuck
" hey guys " I turned back around sending Benny a smile
" Benny ! I missed you " Benny had a confused look on his face
" she's just a bit high man " don said patting Benny in the back and pinching my cheek .
" I'm going to steal Luna for a bit " Benny said , the guys nodded and started heading inside
" be safe " don called out sending us a wink before running back in laughing .
" I hate you ! " I yelled laughing turning to Benny who was now leaning on the wall.
" Benny " I said standing in front of him, man he looked so good tonight . He was wearing a striped dress shirt that I haven't seen before and his blue hat .
   " how high are you ? " he said and I walked closer to him placing my hands around his neck . He smiled down at me and moved his hands to my waist
   " not that high , I'm still mad at you " he laughed
" you look gorgeous by the way " I was blushing like crazy now .
" How about we take a ride and figure things out "  he said and I nodded . He grabbed my hand walking towards his truck
     " shot gun ! " I yelled making Benny laugh
" you dork there's nobody else here " Benny said and I started laughing even more almost falling on the ground . Benny picked me up bridal style and sat me down putting my seatbelt on .
      " Benny " I said looking at him as he was about to close the door
      " yeah " he looked up at me and before I knew it I leaned in and kissed him .
