Reyansh,

You're an idiot.

I hope you know that.

And, even though you literally spoke nothing when I reached at the basketball court, and we stood facing each other like awkward kids in love, I liked that you atleast took some efforts.

And even wrote me a letter.

Who would have thought that I'd be the one to receive a letter from you and you'd be the one wanting to be my friend.

Rey, you're my friend since the day I wrote my first letter to you.

And I genuinely like you, dude.

Not as a crush, no please. I mean no offence, you probably already have a fan following and fan clubs, but I like you for your hidden personality.

How do I know, you'd ask?

I just know.

I know you're not a brooding bad boy, or a loner, or rude asshole.

Maybe you are the last one, maybe.

But I know for real that you're Reyansh Khurana, a boy who needs a hug and a listening ear.

And I'm an awesome hugger.

That sounded way better in my head, lol.

Wanna meet up again tomorrow? We could try silent conversations?

Yours,

Pranati

Jugnu Mishra was a bright, and a brilliant child.

It was true that Jugnu was a word to word or rather cell to cell impersonation of her mother, Pranati, and everything about the little girl, was all owing to Pranati. She was a smart kid, a person who could legit top school if she wanted, someone who could excel in singing if she wanted, someone who could brighten everyone's day by smiling, if she wanted.

But Jugnu didn't want any of it.

Like her biological mother, Jugnu loved mischief, but owing to her biological father, Jugnu couldn't ever forgive people who hurt her own.

And Jugnu absolutely loved her mother.

It was true that Jugnu was always bothered by being called illegitimate, or nasty brat, love bastard and many distasteful words. And every time she watched a fellow student with her father, or speaking about their parents or even narrating tales of their families, Jugnu saddened.

Just a tiny bit though.

Because once she was bullied by few of her classmates for being a child of a unwedded mother, they kept teasing her till she started crying and when she narrated the tale to her mother, Pranati's heart broke.

Never had she seen her mother so crestfallen, and hence, Jugnu vowed to never let such things bother her. So what if she was fatherless, she had an amazing hardworking mother and a equally sweet grandmother who loved her.
