All the clouds that were outside earlier, seemed to vanish. Like the tears and pains in my heart.

"My god, it's bright out." I chuckled, after I sneezed. Hayes chuckled too.
"Bless you and yes it is." He said, looking around.

"We should stop for ice cream." I suggested, pointing to the ice cream shop, across the road.
"Sure." He smiled, grabbing my hand and started running towards the building. Just as he grabbed my hand, he then quickly let it go, and awkwardly started rubbing his hand.
"Sorry, I forgot." Hayes blushed. I smiled.
"Don't worry about it. I kinda forgot too." We both shrugged it off and walked in. The chimes attached to the top of the door, chimed as we walked in.
"Hi. Came for ice cream?" An older lady politely asked, giving us a smile. We both nodded, going to where the ice cream choices were.
"I'll have two scoops of cookies and cream in a bowl, please." I smiled, searching my pocket for the money I brought for me to originally use for the Starbucks double date.
"Hey." Hayes whispered, catching my attention. I looked at him. "I'll pay."
"Are you sure?" I asked, curious.
"Yeah. A man never lets a lady pay." Hayes smiled, causing many butterflies to flutter in my stomach.
"You two are such a cute couple." The older lady admired, causing both of us to look at each other. She took the money but wasn't completely paying attention to us because she was having a slight problem with the cash register.
"Actually-" I started awkwardly, but Hayes cut me off.
"Just let it happen." He whispered, so the lady couldn't hear. I smiled and shrugged it off as the lady figured out the register and then got Hayes his ice cream.

Once we both got our ice cream, which Hayes politely volunteered to pay for, we went outside and sat down on a picnic table that was by the side of the building, in a small grassy area which connected to a small walking path.

"Thanks again for buying us ice cream." I smiled, sitting beside Hayes.
"No problem. My pleasure." Hayes smiled back, beginning to eat his ice cream.
"So, what kind did you get again?" I asked curiously, beginning mine.
"Birthday cake." Hayes took another bite. I slowly nodded my head. "You look confused. Please tell me you have had this before." He chuckled, slightly grinning. I didn't say anything at first.
"Well. I always stick to cookies and cream." I chuckled as well.
"I can't really blame you too much because I've never tried cookies and cream either. Can I try some of yours?" Hayes asked, staring at my ice cream.
"As long as I get to have a bit of yours." I smiled, staring at his.
"Sure." Hayes smiled, getting a spoonful of ice cream ready for me to eat. I did the same thing with my ice cream.
"Here." I smiled, moving the spoon closer towards his mouth. He then ate what was on the spoon. A look of amusement and satisfaction covered his face.
"Thats good." Hayes said, with his mouth still slightly covered with ice cream.
"Told you." I smiled, nudging his arm.
"Here." Hayes got his spoonful of his ice cream and fed it to me, very happily.
"That's really good too." I laughed, trying to wipe the leftover ice cream that sat at corner of my mouth. He honestly is really bad at feeding me ice cream. Hayes then grinned while grabbing a napkin and wiping the ice cream. I smiled as I felt my face get super hot. I tried to hide my face in my shirt then in my shoulder.

I then looked at Hayes's bright blue eyes. I grinned, feeling a massive amounts of butterflies cover my stomach and my heartbeat beginning to increase. He grinned too. I looked down at the table then looked up towards the sky.
"Oh my god. That sunset is so beautiful." I paused. "The view is incredible." I admired, unable to take my eyes off of the sky.
"So beautiful." Hayes whispered, as I turned around to look at him. When I turned around, Hayes wasn't even looking at the sky. His eyes were fixed on me.
"You're missing the sunset." I teased. He grinned still looking at me.
"You're way more beautiful than the sunset. Your beauty lasts an eternity. Sunsets are only temporary." Hayes whispered, grinning.
My face began to heat up, majorly.

With Hayes and I being just friends, he hasn't broken the rules. He never 'touched' me and I said he can be nice and flirt. So I'm not going to get mad at him, or say anything. In addition, I think I like being complimented like that.

After Hayes and I stared into each other's eyes for quite a while, I then broke the eye contact.
"It's getting dark, we should start to head back." I stated, slowly getting up.
"Yeah, I guess we should." Hayes smiled, standing up as well. Hayes and I then slowly began to walk back. "You know," Hayes began. "I think it pretty late. If you want to stay at my house, you can." He tried to talk me into it. It was silence until I spoke.
"I'll just quickly text my mom and ask." I stated, pulling out my phone.

Sarah: Hey mom. So, the double date didn't go so well. Eric and I broke up. :(
Hayes and I just went out for ice cream and now we're on our way back. Is it okay if I stay at his house tonight? :)
Mom: Yeah, sure. Don't think I have any plans for tonight and tomorrow. Have fun. But not too much fun.

Really mom? Very mature.

"Oh my god." I whispered, slightly hitting myself in the face.
"What?" Hayes asked, wanting to look at my phone. I put the screen to my chest, preventing him from looking, I looked up at him, slightly smiling. "What?" Hayes laughed. "I'm not allowed to look? Was it what your mom said?" I nodded my head.

Hayes then tried to take my phone out of my hands as we continued to walk. He stopped walking, I stopped too, looking at him. He took a sigh.
"I really don't want to do this but you leave me no choice." After he said that, I was so confused. Hayes then tickled me to the ground, then getting on top of me.
"Hayes! Stop! I can't breathe." I spoke between breathes. After I said that he stopped, and was still sitting on top of me. We then stared into each others eyes for a while.

Unexpectedly, Hayes stole my phone that was still in my hand.
"Hayes! No!" I tried to get it back but his body weight prevented me from getting it and him lifting it so it is out of my reach. It was silence as Hayes was reading it.
"Why were you so afraid of letting me see this? It's not that bad." Hayes chuckled, handing me back my phone.
"I honestly don't know." I playfully rolled my eyes, feeling my face get hotter then paused. "Am I able to get up now?" I chuckled, as Hayes then shook his head.
"Nope. Sorry." He chuckled, quickly leaning forward getting his hands and pressing them against my wrists, pinning me down. I tried to get him off, I couldn't. He was too strong.

After moments of staring at him, he grinned and slowly leaned in, kissing me passionately. Sparks flew and butterflies fluttered in my stomach.
As we kissed, Hayes's grip on my wrists began to tighten from him leaning over me so much. All I could do was lay there and let Hayes kiss me.
"Sorry. I had to." Hayes murmured after we disconnected. I smiled at him and gently bit my lower lip. He then got off of me and laid beside me.

I then smiled at what just happened.
