Sarah's POV

"Ladies first." Hayes smiled, holding the Starbucks door open for me. I blushed and thanked him as I walked in.
"Hi. What would you like today?" The lady cashier asked, smiling. Hayes then turned to me.
"Here. I'll order for us and you can go find us a spot." Hayes smiled. I said okay, and left him to find a spot to sit. This place was surprisingly pretty much empty so I had a wide variety of options to choose from.

He knows what I get anyway. We both love the same thing, Vanilla bean frappe. I sat down at a table for two and decided to check my Twitter and all my social media. As usual, nothing important is happening.

I felt eyes on me so I slowly lifted my head. Hayes and the cashier were staring and smiling at me. I awkwardly smiled and waved. They both waved back. The cashier handed him our drinks then she whispered something in his ear. I instantly got curious.
Does he have a thing for the cashier? On our date? Really?

As Hayes was walking away, she left.
"Hey." Hayes smiled, setting my cup in front of me. Originally, where my name would be, was a handwritten note with a little hand drawn heart.

'Would you like to be my girlfriend? ~Hayes'

I covered my mouth with my hand as I looked at him. He grinned, waiting for me to reply.
"Of course." I smiled, standing up to embrace him in a hug. He hugged me tightly, while slightly lifting me off the ground. He put me down, then staring straight in my eyes.
"Look. I'm sorry for every dumb thing I've done to you. Dumping you was literally the worst decision I've ever made. I felt so bad for doing that to you. You don't deserve that, I should have treated you better." He paused. "When I kissed you when we were walking back, I felt those exact same sparks I did the first day I kissed you on New Years. I still love you and I always will. What I'm trying to conclude is that I'm so sorry for everything that I've done and I love you."
I stood there, having no clue what to say. Letting my actions speak louder than words, I pulled him into a large hug again.
"I love you too." I whispered as Hayes gently rested his chin on my shoulder.
Hayes and I then finished our drinks and began to head back to his house, hand in hand.

"Hayes!" I said excitedly, hitting his arm.
"What?" He asked, confused.
"There's a carnival over there! We should go." I jumped, pointing to the carnival, which was just a bit ahead of us.
"Sure." Hayes smiled as we walked to the carnival.
I started getting really excited to spend time with Hayes at a carnival.

"Oh. My. God." I stood astonished, staring up at a massive puppy stuffed animal, that was beside many other animals; like a cat, unicorn, bird and a few others.
"Hayes? Do you love me?" I asked, swaying my body back and forth. Hayes was looking at me, already knowing what I'm looking at.
"I do." Hayes smiled, giving me a quick peck on the lips and held my hand as we began to walk over to where to where the massive puppy prize will be won.

The game seemed simple. All he had to do a shoot two small objects that were around fifteen to twenty feet away with three BB gun bullet things. This game was only twenty five cents per every three shots. Or per round.

(Authors Note- I don't even know if this can even be possible to win but I made it up.. It's sounds kinda possible I guess. 😂 )

"Look, Hayes. You don't have to get me this anymore. This is your seventh time, it doesn't matter anymore." I stated, making sure that he doesn't spend all of our money on this.
"No. I'm determined to get this for you." Hayes stated, turning to me, for me to give him more money. I took a slightly frustrated sigh.
"No. After this twenty five cents is finished, I'm cutting you off." I stated, handing him one more quarter and he quickly handed it to the lady at the booth. I put the rest of the quarters in my pocket.
