"Sorry, Brooke wasn't too happy that you came along." I sighed.
"Oh. Sorry, we can catch up another time if you want."
"No, don't worry about it. She already left." I shrugged my shoulders, starting to walk again.
"If it's fine with you, I'd like to stay." Hayes states as I nod my head.
"I need you to tell me a hint of what my present is." I smiled, looking down.
"All I can say is that you are going to love it." Hayes smiles as well, this time nudging me on my arm.
"No hints? Nothing? Come on, not even one?" I tried to get Hayes to give me a hint.
"Sorry. As much as I want to tell you what it is, I can't. One hint will give it away." I took a long sigh, crossing my arms.
"I'm going to get it out of you. Somehow." I squinted my eyes, thinking of what I could do. Thinking of the dumbest thing to do, I decided to tickle him. During that few seconds, was one of the awkwardest thing I have ever done in my life. I tried to tickle him. Since he wasn't the tickle type of person, he stood there staring at me. I felt my face get extremely hot from blushing.
"You know that I'm not ticklish, right?" Hayes asked, laughing from either my blushing or dumb mistake or maybe both.
"I know that now." I laughed along with him.
"But I know that you're very ticklish." Hayes smiled. I know exactly where this is going. I quickly move backwards, going towards the grass.
"No, I know exactly where this is going." I slightly laughed.
"I'm glad you know." Right after Hayes said that he ran to me and started to tickle me.

With out a thought I ran for a bit. But Hayes was too fast and he caught up to me. Why did he have to be in the football team?
I then dropped to the grass, having a laugh attack and unable to breathe normally.
"Hayes! Stop!" I laughed until tears started to form.
"Why?" Hayes continued to tickle me, now kneeling down at my side.
"Because I can't breathe!" I laughed again, trying to squirm free.
"Well, I guess breathing is quite important. I do want you to live as well." Hayes stopped, now sitting beside me.
"If you want to live, yes it is important." I chuckled. Hayes was sitting as I was still laying down. Hayes looked down at me with his bright blue eyes, smiling. A gentle smile spread across my face.
Then, it suddenly hit me in the face like a ton of bricks.

I think I like my best friend, Hayes Grier.
