Marionette's POV
"I wouldn't leave you again...I hope you know that" is all Madeline said before she exited her room. Once she left, I took a look at my stitched arms. I was amazed by how she could do that. Yet, this wasn't my first time. I remember the day when I tried to get out of my box, leaving a cut on my arm. I had to be fixed the same way as well. It was years ago, but I still have that memory of it. Oh well, maybe I just have this thing where I can't forget events in the past. No matter how hard I try to. I still can't get that image out of my mind. Madeline...with that cut on her arm...and Freddy holding her down as...
Stop! Forget about that Marionette. It's over, we won.
But I still ponder on one thing...
What would have happened if Toy Bonnie didn't let me out of my box? If Mangle didn't come the time she did? If Balloon Boy didn't see Toy Freddy carrying Madeline at the time he did?
What would have happened if I wasn't there?...
"Ahem" Madeline cleared her throat as she stood in the door way, leaning against the border of the door. "You must be thinking about something. You seemed zoned out for a few minutes. Something on your mind?"
"No. Nothing." I assured her
She smiled and nodded, "good. Well, I'm exhausted, you must be too so I'll get you something to sleep on". She walked over to her walk in closet and grabbed a light blue round chair. Black metal poles were at the bottom, keeping it in place. Madeline set it down against the wall, which was near the door. I smiled and walked up to the chair and sat down. It was comfortable, probably better to sleep in then a box.
Madeline went over to her stand and switched off the light, leaving the only source of light by the half closed shades on her window. I curled up on the chair and shut my eyes.
Falling asleep instantly...

I woke up in a pitch black room. I saw nothing but darkness. No light and a strange feeling of no hope and hate in the atmosphere. I suddenly heard a metal clang and laughter.
A laugh that that I only heard one person do...Toy Freddy.
His laugh echoed around me. I examined the place, seeing nothing as if I was blind. But suddenly, a light appeared a couple feet in front of me. The light was light yellow and was formed into a circle.
I began getting curious. I started to walk slowly towards the light. On the way there, a security guard hat laid on the floor. I knelt down and picked it up. The hat had a few drops of red on it.
No...no it's not hers. She's alive. Me and the others saved her.
I dropped the hat and picked up my pace. Once I got there, I stood shocked. Toy Freddy was looking down at Madeline who laid lifeless on the floor. Wounds and bruises on her face and arms. Her eyes shut, as if she was in a peaceful slumber.
Toy Freddy made another spine chilling laugh and slowly put his head up to look at me.
"You're too late Marionette. Why didn't you come here sooner?" He asked calmly and smiled.
My hands started to shake as I looked at her body on the floor. I dropped to my knees. I felt water forming in my eyes then running down my face. This is what it feels like to cry.
"Why? Why would you do this?" I asked and starred at Mr. Freddy.
"Come on Marionette. You know what guards do. They take away our freedom. What ever happened to the puppet who used to kill?"
"I...I don't want to kill anymore!"
"But she's already dead. Let your anger out. It's alright. We all do it-"
"That's because all of you are monsters!"
I tackled Toy Freddy and made a deep slash in his metal face. The bear grabbed my arms and pushed me off of him. He got up and touched his face.
"See? You're a monster too. Thing is, Madeline thought we were all innocent and harmless. But she was wrong. And we proved that. It's a good thing she died anyways. Why do you think we started doing this in the first place? Because she left and we had no choice."
"It wasn't her fault it was mine! I cut that child!"
"You cut that child because she left. She is the reason why we do this every night. You're not to blame. Madeline is. But that's okay, she won't be bothering you anytime soon."
"No...no...NO!"

Madeline's POV
"Okay just get here quickly. Okay, bye" I said into my phone then hung up. I had been talking with Skylar for the past hour. I told her everything that's been going on at Freddy's. Yes, I said I was keeping everything a secret. But, Sky has told me secrets that no one else has ever heard so it wouldn't be fair if I just kept it to myself.
I didn't tell her about Marionette being here though...she'll figure that out when she gets here.
Hopefully those two get along and she doesn't go off on him about accidentally hurting me.
I placed my phone down on the coffee table in my living room. I've been sitting here on our couch. Marionette was still upstairs sleeping so I didn't want to disturb him. The whole house was silent but that silence ended quickly.
"NOOOOOOO!" I heard Marionette scream from upstairs. I jumped up from the couch and placed a hand on my chest, feeling my pounding heart. What was going on up there?
I darted from the living room and dashed upstairs. I almost slammed into the door because I was running so fast. I grabbed the door handle and turned it, whipping the door open. Then I ran to my stand and turned the light on, leaving Marionette with a scared look on his face as he sat on the round chair.
"What happened?" I shouted, out of breath from running up here so fast.
"What do you mean what happened?
I was asleep and you just ran in here!" He said and put his hands in the direction of the door.
"I ran in here because you screamed bloody murder! What happened?"
"I don't know what you're on about. Are you hearing things?"
I crossed my arms and looked directly at him. I had the strange feeling that he was lying, but trust him...he would never lie to me.
"You know what. I probably was hearing things. Anyway, Skylar is coming over here."
Marionette cocked his head and gave me a curious look. Which, to be honest, I found really adorable....wait...what?
"Who's Skylar?"
I heard someone rapidly knock on the front door. It was probably Skylar. How did she get here so fast? I smiled at Marionette and headed out the door.
"You'll see"
