Mangle's POV

"So, that's what Madeline looks like" I whispered to myself. I was on the ceiling of Prize Corner, hidden in a dark spot so no one could see me, but I saw everything.

That girl, or Madeline, is a brave one. To make her way from her office to Prize Corner while being chased by violent animatronics to reach her friend is something special.

I could tell she didn't mean what she said about us not having feelings. I always thought the girl would be too kind to say something like that. Toy Freddy and the others always told me Madeline tried to have the staff fix me, something not even the toys would have done.

Now that I know it is Madeline, I'm not killing her or even try to scare her. If she means that much to Marionette, I'm leaving her alone. But that doesn't mean the others won't go after her. They will.

If I told Toy Freddy it is really her, he wouldn't believe me. Trust me, every time Marionette talks about Madeline, Toy Freddy always told him he's crazy.

I absolutely despise that bear. I'm not taking orders from him any longer. Id rather stay shut off in Kid's Cove then destroy Marionette... again.

I crawled over to an air vent and went inside. Then crawled my to Kid's Cove before Mr. Freddy sees me out of place.

Hopefully Marionette can hide Madeline away, before Toy Freddy deals with her himself.

Madeline's POV

I made my way into the cafeteria and looked around, trying to find Skylar. We always meet up at the same table everyday, so right when I looked at that table's direction, I saw her looking bored out of her mind.

I walked over there quietly so she couldn't hear me. I wanted to scare give her a jump scare, kinda like how Marionette gave me one.

I stood behind Skylar without her noticing me. My arms reached out so my hands could touch her shoulders. Right when I touched her shoulders I let out a small raa, making Skylar go ahh.

She turned around. Once she saw me, she crossed her arms. "Really? Was that really necessary Maddie?"

I shrugged my shoulders and sat on a chair that was next to Skylar. A goofy smile was on my face as she continued to cross her arms and give me a ticked off look.

"Sometimes I wonder why I'm still friends with you" Skylar said jokingly.

"Because I'm a very loving person!" I cheered happily, making Skylar laugh. I started laughing with her. Then suddenly Skylar's face turned into disgust.

"Look what the cat dragged in" she said while pointing over to another table. I turned around and saw....Adam. That low life loser who everybody just adores! Oh please he's a suck up! Four beautiful teenage girls were standing by him, twirling their hair and giggling.

"Tell us how you got that scar on your face again Adam!" A girl with short brunette hair said while smiling, showing bright white teeth. So bright that a horse could get jealous of them.

"Well, one day, me and the boys" he pointed over to the jock table where his friends were. "Went out into the woods just to have some fun. Then out of no where, this pack of wolves came out from the trees. We ran as fast as we could but in the process I tripped. A wolf leaped out on top of me and gave me a good claw to the cheek. But I fought back, wrestling with the wolf until finally, the wolves got so afraid that they left"

The girls were so thrilled by his story that they started squealing, making me roll my eyes. "How many times have you heard that one?" I asked Skylar.

"This is actually the first time he used a wolf. Last time he said he went into a cave and got attacked by a bear!" Skylar shouted trying to make an epic story.

"Well I'm sure the big, bold, and brave Adam got out of that situation! He's so wise and handsome!"

Skylar and I smirked then started busting up laughing at my joke. To put it nicely, Adam is more bronze than brain. "I'm sure if he tells people that story at his job interview he'd be hired right away! And speaking of jobs, how's yours goin' Maddie?"

I sat there silent. I can't tell her some of the crazy things that actually happened, but I'll tell her the good things.

"My job? Oh, it's fine" I replied, trying to keep my cool.

Skylar raised an eyebrow and gave me a goofy smirk. "Did you talk to M-A-R-I-O-N-E-T-T-E?"

"Yes, yes I did" I told her without hesitation "we talked last night for a matter of fact. He wanted to know why I left him, I told him, and we talked for the rest of the night. No biggie"

"No biggie? Dude, you actually talked to him! That's a huge biggie! And let me guess, I was right, he still cares about you"

I know where this conversation is heading. I'm about to get the 'I told you so' from Skylar. Something I get almost everyday.

"He still cares" I said clearly. Skylar put her hand by her ear and leaned in closer to me. "What was that?" She asked.

Alright then miss smarty pants, if you want to play this game. I'll play it.
"He still cares!" I shouted in her ear, making her stumble over her chair like a drunk person.

"I was just joking! You didn't have to make me go deaf!" She hollered at me from the floor.

I laughed and put my hand out to help her up. She took it and once she stood up, the bell rang.

Before I could even get out of the cafeteria, Skylar stopped me. "You made a good decision Maddie. Maybe tonight show him something that proves you still care. Actions are better than words you know"

Skylar went the opposite direction I was heading to. I wish we had the same schedule, that would be a blast! I wonder how many classes we get kicked out of. I laughed to myself, making Stella give me a strange look.

There goes miss wonderful, the captain of the cheer team. Someone could not pay me a million dollars to sit in the same room with love birds, Adam and Stella.

But, anyways, what Skylar said was actually helpful. Actions are better than words. Marionette proved he still cared by still having the drawing I made him years ago. Now I need to find something I have to show I still cared about him when I was gone. But what can I show him that will pr-
