DMWNT 9: Caspian, The protective boyfriend
[Trece]
I skipped school yesterday, I thought grimly.
But it can't be helped, I was beaten to a pulp after all. My lips are healing nicely, dahil na rin sa ointment na nilagay ko, and I pushed my finger's bones back to their places last night. It wasn't a pretty job.
Ala-sais treinta na ng umaga, and I'm still sporting a little headache. Ililigo ko na lamang 'to. I grabbed my towel and went out of my room.
"Currently under repair?" I muttered while blinking in confusion.
A girl still in her PJs, with a towel draped on her shoulder.
"Where are we supposed to bath?"
I murmured my thanks and walked to the direction she said, feeling a bit disoriented.
I entered the emergency shower room. Wala pang ibang naliligo, I guess it's still too early. Wala itong gaanong pinagkaiba sa madalas naming paliguan. There are ten shower stalls, separated by thin walls about five feet in length all painted in white, with about two feet opening at the bottom.
Pumasok ako sa pinakadulo. I took a calming breath when I realized the lack of towel racks inside.
I faced the shower and turned it on, letting the cold water ran over my body as my thoughts strayed to an exhausting day ahead.
I was planning to take the HUMMS strand in senior high, then enroll in a Literature course in college. I want to be a novelist. Travel the world, and incorporate the wonders it offers in my novels.
I do have dreams.
I told Caspian yesterday that I don't mind dying, but that was a lie. I don't want to fight, but I don't want to die either. Fortunately, I've never been in a situation where I have to choose whether I should fight or I should die.
Then there were voices. Loud voices.
I froze.
Loud male voices.
"I'm telling you man, most first years have bigger boobs than my fourth year classmates, tangina."
What the jeez just happened?! Why are there men in this bathroom?!
Oh God. Oh freaking God.
Five minutes limit."
