They gathered all the people of the camp to head to another camp across the forest. It wasn't too much of a walk away but Lexi knew her feet would be killing her by the time they arrive. She walked in the middle of the crowd, behind her brothers as well as Jack and Lucifer. She stood close enough to hear the conversations between Jack and the archangel, keeping a close eye on them.

Jack had a choice. He could trust Lucifer to be a part of his life or he could push him away. It was clear he had already made his choice, and not the right one. Lexi wanted to give him the freedom to choose, allowing him to decide on his own. Even though she desperately wanted to tell him to never talk to Lucifer, to not listen to his twisted words, she knew it would be wrong to take away his freedom. He wasn't a child, well, not exactly.

Despite wanting to eavesdrop on their conversation, Lexi zoned out as she stared at the trees they passed by. She could barely believe that home was so close. She couldn't wait to walk into the bunker again, to sleep in her own bed, to have a hot shower. But she didn't rule out the idea that some tragedy would happen and take her chance of going home away. With her luck, it was likely that chance would be taken.

Spotting Cas approaching the group, they all came to a stop.

"Hey, find him?" Dean asked the angel.

"No." Cas breathed heavily, "Gabriel went ahead to scout, but he should be back by now."

With perfect timing, the topic of conversation emerged from the forest, running manically towards the group. "Angels!" Gabriel yelled.

From behind him, multiple soldiers appeared out of the woods, arms raised ready for attack. Everyone raised their weapons, aiming for the angels.

Lexi gripped her gun tight as she moved to stand in front of Jack and beside Sam. Her face was blank but her eyes sharp on the angels.

"Kill them! On my command." The angel that stood ahead called out. He raised his arm for the signal, but before he could give the command, each angel turned to dust in a split second. Dust floated to the floor and no sign of angels was left behind.

With confused glances, everyone hesitantly lowered their weapons, unsure of what exactly just happened. But as they turned to look behind them, it all became clear.

Lucifer stood with one hand raised, a bored expression plastered on his face. Everyone watched as the cuffs soon melted off his hands, disappearing like they were never there.
