Life seemed to be fine, for once. They had Jack back, no one was dying, everyone was somewhat happy. Except for the fact that Michael was still out there and planning to take over Kansas City. They found out from Garth, who was inside Michael's facility and feeding back information to Sam. As well as this, Ketch had found somewhat of a way to stop Michael. An egg. Weird, right? Lexi thought the same. According to Ketch, there was an object in the shape of egg that could put Michael back in the cage. If it actually worked, that is.

"The whole damn town?" Dean asked when Sam told him.

Sam nodded, "It's gonna be a bloodbath." He said, "All of Michael's monsters activating all at once, attacking, turning everyone in Kansas City?"

"It's his army." Cas added.

Dean scoffed, "And all on a night when nobody's guard's up, all nogged up, waiting for Santa. Merry fucking Christmas."

Holidays were never a thing for the Winchesters. They rarely ever celebrated them. Maybe a simple 'Happy Holidays' but they never did gifts.

"Yeah, well, Garth said Michael was gonna give the signal at midnight, so if we can get to him before he does--"

"Then we can stop this." Jack cut him off.

"But how?" Lexi shrugged, "We tried once and we failed."

"We have the spear still in play." Dean said, "That can hurt Michael. Given as much trouble as he's gone through to find it, it might do worse. Could be a shot at actually killing the son of a bitch."

"And we may be able to trap him." Castiel suggested, "I mean, Bobby's been working on those angel cuffs. They might be able to hold him."

"What about the egg?" Lexi inquired, "I mean, we have Rowena's spell. We can put Michael back in the Cage. It's literally a trip to the post office."

Dean nodded, "Okay, well, getting the spear is literally a trip to the Carter Lake recycling facilities. I say we get both." Everyone makes a move to leave, "Me and Cas, we'll go deal with Michael's monsters and get the spear. You, Jack and Lex, you do your mail run and get the egg. We'll meet back at Hitomi Plaza with both weapons, and we'll hit him from both sides. Alright?"

"Alright."

Lexi was always grateful for the family she had. Of course, she often hoped for a simple happy life with her mom. But life with her brothers was never boring. Sometimes she imagined a life where they all lived as one family. Her father would've remarried to her mother and they would have Lexi. They'd live in the suburbs with Sam and Dean. Sam would be a lawyer and Dean would be a mechanic with John. Lexi would've stayed in school, maybe even go to college. She never really had a career plan but any life with her family would suffice. However, that dream was always only that. A dream. If it were reality, then Mary would still be dead, Lexi never would've met Jack, Dean never would've met Cas, and all the people they saved would be dead. Despite everything, Lexi adored the family she now had.
