The next few days blended into each other as Lexi stayed in the bunker. She didn't leave for supply runs or fresh air, she didn't even go on any of the cases that Sam and Dean went on. There was no reason for this, it's not like she went into a depressive episode or anything, she just had to focus on other more important things. While Sam and Dean went on a case to do with demons, Lexi stayed back in the bunker doing piles of research.

She researched on different dimensions, and how to get there. There were many legends and tales about it, but most were just fake stories made up by bored people on the internet. During the days prior, she had spent most of her time searching for Jack, but she soon realised that she couldn't sit around waiting any longer. So, she started to find her own way of getting Mary back. Despite not being typically close with the woman, Mary was still like family to her, and she needed her back. Of course, she still kept her phone on in case any sign of Jack would turn up.

Her bed had been scattered in papers and books, her laptop open in front of her with old folk lore websites displayed upon the screen. So far, she had found multiple different ways to enter other worlds, some through the works of science and some through magic. She had no idea if any of them were legit, but she printed off all the information that she could find just in case.

Lexi had no idea where Sam and Dean were, she hadn't seen them since last night. They would bring her food or ask if she wanted to watch a movie, but she'd always say no. She didn't want to waste any more time because the more time that goes by, the bigger chance of Mary being dead.

The sound of knocking on her door snapped her out of her focus. "Busy." Lexi simply called out, not bothering to see who was there. It wasn't like it would be anyone unexpected anyway.

The person behind the door entered anyway, not caring about her decline of entry. The blonde girl sighed before looking up from her laptop.

"If you didn't want me to come in, you should've locked the door." Dean justified as he stood in the doorway.

Lexi huffed and put down the papers in her hand, "What do you want?" She bluntly asked, a deadpanned look on her face.

"Jody called." Dean said, "She said an artist was found dead with his eyes burned out. Witness gave a description of the suspect, it fits Jack perfectly."

Lexi straightened up, her eyebrows raised ever so slightly. Any other circumstance and she would've rushed out the door with no hesitation to go get Jack. But if this really was him, then he killed that man, and Lexi didn't want to accept that.
