The Impala sat at the side of the road in the middle of the town. Dean had spoken to the sheriff, helping to convince him that there was a gas leak and everyone had to evacuate. But before he did that, he went to buy a bag of salt to use for the spell.

This mean that he left Belphegor alone with Lexi. And Lexi was not happy with this.

The demon leant against the car with his arms crossed, slouching his shoulders in boredom. The more Lexi saw of him, the more she realised how different he was from Jack. Despite him occupying Jack's body, the way the demon spoke and held himself was nothing like the boy.

Lexi tore her eyes away from the demon as he caught her.

"Something caught your eye?" He asked, looking at her through his sunglasses.

Lexi looked at the street in front of them, "No." She simply said, not wanting to engage in conversation.

Belphegor sighed at her short reply, adjusting his weight onto his left leg, "Look, I get it." He said, "I'm using your dead boyfriend as a vessel. It's weird."

Lexi tilted her head back, desperately not wanting to talk about this topic.

Belphegor continued, "But I can't find another dead vessel, especially not one as handsome." He smirked. "I get what you saw in this guy." He looked down at his body.

Lexi sighed, "Belphegor—"

"Bel." The demon corrected and shrugged.

"Whatever." Lexi glanced at him briefly before continuing, "I've been through hell, I've just watched my boyfriend die and now the world is literally ending. So, I'm not really in the mood for chit-chat." She plastered on a fake smile before quickly dropping it to a deadpan a with an eye-roll.

Bel nodded and pursed his lips, "Talia was right. You are grumpy."

This made Lexi snap her gaze towards him, "What?" She  furrowed her brows, "Talia...the demon?"

"Yep." Bel said, popping the 'p' and shrugging, "Demons gossip."

She didn't know why she was so shocked. At the same time, panic shot through her as she realised someone knew that she had spoken to Talia. But Sam and Dean weren't around to hear, and she just had to pray that Bel wouldn't snitch. "I shouldn't be surprised that you know each other." Lexi bitterly chuckled, "Psychos herd together."
