Lexi Winchester has lived a rollercoaster of a life. There had never been a calm day for the young girl. In fact, she wasn't always a Winchester. She used to be Alexis Peterson, orphan and runaway. She used to live with her mother in Colorado, in a welcoming home and a happy life. But that all changed in the year 2006 when Lexi's mother died.

She doesn't remember much about her mother's death. Just the intruders, the screaming, and the haunting black eyes. She remembered hiding in a closet, and watching through the gap as she saw her mother being killed. And before she knew it, she was being given to an orphanage and she never saw her mother again. Despite being told that her mother was dead, her eight year old mind didn't quite understand the feeling of grief. What she did understand was that the people who killed her mother, weren't human. The black eyes haunted her dreams, and no one ever believed her when she told them.

Through the years of living inside the orphanage, Lexi read books on the supernatural. She researched people with black eyes, finding many websites on the deep web, and soon discovered the world was full of other supernatural beings. Of course she didn't believe it all at first, books and websites could lie. So she began looking through the newspapers for some sort of unsolved tragedy that seems almost supernatural. Surprisingly, she found many unnatural cases that no one could solve. Over her time in the orphanage, she constantly wondered who her father was. The life of an orphan was anything but happy for Lexi. Despite her attempts to find her foster files, she found nothing.

At the age of fifteen, Lexi made the idiotic decision to run away from the orphanage, stealing money from the system in order to start a life. And that's exactly what she did. She used the money for clothes, food and motels. The young girl didn't leave with no reason though, she left with determination to find her father. However, she had nowhere to start. No name, no phone number, no address. Nothing. She was young, alone, and lived in a world where danger was hiding behind every corner. After about two months of pointless searching, she turned to the danger for help.

Like a naive little girl, Lexi used a ritual she found online to summon a crossroads demon. She had read about them, knowing that they made deals with desperate people like her. What she didn't know was that she didn't just summon a crossroads demon, but the King of the Crossroads and Hell. The demon, who went by Crowley, was surprised to see the one who summoned him was a sixteen year old girl. But not just any sixteen year old girl, a girl who shared the blood of his enemies.

Lexi asked him to find her father, or any remaining family she had. She knew the price she had to pay, and was willing to give it. However, Crowley was smarter than that. He wasn't going to just take the soul of someone so important, he decided that she could be some use to him and his petty amusement.
