Anxiety lingered in her stomach ever since Lexi arrived back at the bunker. She was sat at the map table, bouncing her leg and biting her nails whilst staring at her last text to Jack.

when will you be home?

That was sent forty-five minutes ago, and still no reply. It wasn't like she needed Jack to always reply straight away, it was more like she couldn't sit still on the information she had learnt, the interaction she had.

Talia was a demon, and Lexi wasn't an idiot. But she was desperate. She wanted nothing more than to save Jack from living soulless. She prayed that he was not already too far gone, but deep down she knew he was. Talia's solution wasn't ideal, it was terrible actually. But Lexi would do anything for Jack, even sacrifice her own soul.

When the bunker door creaked open, Lexi jumped up out of her seat. She looked up at Dean entering, Jack following after him, and gave a straight smile up at her brother.

"Hey." Lexi greeted as they walked down the steps from the door. Dean nodded at her before dumping his bag on the map table. "So, where'd you go?" She asked.

"To see Donatello." Jack answered with a small smile, holding the snake box in his hands.

Lexi raised her brows, "Oh really?" She glanced at Dean.

"Yep." Dean said before turning to Jack, "Hey, Jack, why don't you go take the snake back to your room?" He asked, but it was more of an order. The boy nodded before moving past them to the hall way, not noticing as Dean almost jumped back when Jack passed him with the snake a little too close. Once he had left, Dean turned to his sister.

"So?" Lexi was growing impatient.

"He'll be fine." Dean said, "At least that's what Donnie thinks."

Lexi sighed with relief, but then she began shaking his head, "There's still something so off about him. He's not the same, Dean." She stared down at the lines on the map table, slightly tracing them with her fingers.

"I know." Dean nodded, "We just have to keep an eye on him."

Lexi bit the inside of her cheek, words playing on her tongue but not full forming as she debating telling her brother about the demon or not. "Dean, I—" She cut herself off.

Dean looked at her, glancing her over, waiting for her to speak, "What?"

Lexi stared up at him, her green eyes wide and her lips parted whilst she tried to speak, "I...um...I'm just...worried about him." She couldn't tell him about the demon. She couldn't face the yelling and screaming.
