It had been a day since Jack had left the bunker, and there had not been a single sign of him anywhere. Sam had put an APB out to every single hunter they knew but no one had seen him. You'd think it would be easy to find a nephilim who's powers were going haywire but apparently not.

Lexi had woken up later than usual, at least an hour later, and yet she still felt exhausted. A long sigh escaped her lips as she sat up in bed, her short blonde hair falling in front of her eyes but she made no effort to fix it. Pulling herself out of the comfort of her bed, Lexi slugged down the hallway to the bathroom. The cold air in the bunker caused chills to run down her bare arms, making her quickly wish she grabbed a sweater before she left her room.

When Lexi entered the bathroom, she didn't bother to close to door as she made her away over to the sink. She finally ran her fingers through her tangled hair when she saw her appearance in the mirror. She looked overall normal, as long as she fixed her hair, but her blood shot eyes from lack of sleep were what made her look like a mess.

Even though Sam was attempting to track Jack, Lexi couldn't sleep without doing some of her own searching. She called every contact she had, people she had met on past jobs, people she had saved, hunters she had met. She didn't have many contacts but the more people who were looking out for Jack, the better.

She had even called Claire, despite rarely speaking to her before. Lexi told her to keep an eye out for a tall boy with brown hair who could have unexplainable abilities. To which Claire replied with: "If I see your angel boyfriend, I'll let you know." And then hung up before Lexi could thank her.

After she had made as many calls as possible, she couldn't sleep. She stayed up staring at her phone, waiting on any calls or texts to come through with an update on Jack. But there was nothing.

The faucet squeaked as Lexi turned it on. She cupped her hands under the water to splash some on her face. The feeling of cold water on her skin alerted her awake slightly, but her green eyes still had a bright red tint in them.

After she dried her face with a towel, she leant her hands on the edge of the sink and stared ahead at herself. She didn't often like to look at her appearance, she usually didn't like what she saw. Not because she thought she was ugly or disgusting, but because she barely recognised herself. The girl she knew from the orphanage with the long blonde hair and bright eyes was the girl she was familiar with. But as the years went by, that girl slowly started to slip away. Even when she was working for Crowley, Lexi still had that bright aura to her. But since she had been hunting with her brothers, she had seen and done things that she used to have nightmares about.
