Indigo Meets Scarlet (Wanda x Y/n)

Y/N POV

Before teleporting to the loading bay, I head to the weapons hanging on the wall of the training room, selecting a pair of electrocuting batons, two pistols and a set of knives, shoving them in a bag I managed to find in the corner of the room. 

When I open my eyes at the base of the quinjet, I dash over to the lockers that spread along the wall of the loading bay, putting in the code to mine and grabbing my suit and combat shoes. My suit was similar to Natasha's, black and tight-fitting with sewn-in holsters for batons on my back, gun holsters on my thighs and a series of hidden pockets to slip my knives into. I shove them alongside my other weapons in my bag with a few extra knives I had lying in my locker. 

Never hurts to have a few spare.

Getting settled on the quinjet, I wait for the rest of the team to get their suits and arrive. Once everyone has loaded their weapons and armour on, we get buckled in and prepare for takeoff. I stare at my hands, rubbing my knuckles together anxiously. 

Missions always made me a bit nervous, you never really knew what you were expecting, or what the outcome was going to be. People got hurt, badly hurt. And not everybody can be saved. Muttering the words to the song playing through my headphones under my breath, I look around at the rest of the team. Everyone's looking expectantly at Tony, waiting for details of the mission so we can try to get a plan together.

Taking a deep breath, Stark removes his glasses and looks at us. I turn down the volume of my headphones so I can hear him better. 

"Okay guys so I think this might be the one we've been waiting for. Small Hydra research base in Sokovia, a small country near the Czech Republic. We believe this is where Strucker has the Scepter." 

"Are you certain?" Thor interrupted. He was anxious to find his brothers staff that had brought us so much torment over the last months. 

"Even if it's not, it's still a Hydra base that needs to be eliminated." Steve responds to the god. 

"Right, exactly. So anyway, from what we know, there doesn't seem to be a lot of security surrounding the facility, but if the scepter is there than I guess we should expect a lot, but nothing we can't take I'm sure. Cap? What's your plan of action? You're in charge, I just pay for everything." The billionaire finished, and we all turn to look at Rogers. 

"Fury informed me he'd have a truck and my bike ready for us just outside the perimeter of the facility. We go in, Tony you try to fly ahead and scout out the facility, try to see any point of access and how many guards.
I'm sure we'll be met with Hydra soldiers once we start our approach, so the rest of us the goal is first to get to the base. Once we get there, we split into twos, just grab the avenger nearest to you, search the whole facility.
If we don't find the sceptre, grab anything that you think needs to come in. The main priority is to find the Scepter though, don't stop until you've searched every corner of that place. And most importantly, make sure your comms are on at all time, stay connected to the rest of the team and make sure you update everyone. Okay?"

We all nod in agreement. We didn't need much else, we had already raided 5 Hydra bases in the last 6 months I had been here and I know they had shutdown more before they came to mine. 

"Will this be a code green?" Bruce uttered from the back of the quinjet. Tony and Cap looked between each other, before responding with a quick nod. Bruce sighed, and nodded back, getting up and going to change into better clothes for the Hulk. 

The rest of us turn around and change into our suits, before sitting back down and anxiously waiting for the battle ahead.
