Somewhere in the depths of Russia...
"Strucker! Progress report."
A tall figure clad in a long, ragged trench coat marches down the stairs, approaching the Hydra leader positioned on the walkway.
"They should be ready in three months, should the rest of the cloning process go smoothly."
Strucker holds out his hand, gesturing for the man to go ahead of him down the walkway that held eight incubation pods, following swiftly behind.
They pause at each cylinder, observing the body floating in the preservation fluid, Strucker anxiously watching for approval from the man.
Coming to the last incubation pod, the man leans forward, his hands gripping the railings of the walkway until they go white.
"Y/L/N. Я закончу то, что начал мой отец. я иду за тобой.(I will finish what my father started. I'm coming for you.)" He hissed with such fury, small globules of spit flew from his mouth.
"And your friends too."
The man speaks louder now, holding his arms up to gesture at the other pods, a nefarious laugh bubbling deep in his chest as he looks at the German beside him.
Strucker relaxes, joining him in his laughter while he marvels over his work.
The Avengers didn't know what was about to hit them.
