~Febuary 1557~

I opened my eyes slowly feeling nauseous. I dropped to my knees puking my stomachs contents on the ground.

"I should of warned you, it can be rough on the body the first time." I looked up to see a beautiful woman with fair skin and markings all over her body like a vine of tattoos. She had long black hair with streaks of green through it. Her eyes were a piercing green I've never seen before. She had on a very short black and green skirt with a crop top of black and green that only covered her chest but nothing else. She was breath taking.

"What year is it?" I asked finally able to form words.

"1557." She replied.

"What's your name?"

"Elmer." I gasped softly.

"You were Mabel's enchantress." She nodded.

"I was" she spoke softly but then her eyes slightly darkened. "Until she turned on me." She sneered.

"Yea, it was unfortunate of the outcome caused by Samuel" I slowly stood up.

"So uh can anyone see me?" I asked curiously.

"No, only your soul is here, your body is still in the present" she explained.

"Oh.." she starts walking so I follow. I look around taking it in. So this is 1557, it's quiet.

"So where are we going?" I asked and she stayed quiet. Alright that works. I started to whistle to try and pass the time of walking God knows where.

I grunted as I ran into Elmer when she suddenly stopped. I looked up at her wondering why she stopped when I heard heard voices out of nowhere. I looked around her towards the voices.

"Master Silas is looking for you." A man said in a strong accent. I walked closer to them and gasped. He was handsome.

"Kyle?" I asked surprised.

"Whose Kyle?" Elmer asked.

"Huh? Oh Kyle is my ex boyfriend, who I was with before I found Jayda. That guy looks exactly like him." My heart squeezed slightly.

"That's Tobias, Samuels beta." Elmer explains. I nod in understanding, I stayed quiet to listen to what they're saying.

"Tell him to meet me in my chambers." Samuel orders Tobias.

"Of course master." Tobias nods in a respectful way while bowing slightly and walking off. That's so strange, no one ever does that to my father.

Samuel walks away quickling so I run to catch up to watch him. He walks to this huge castle going inside. I'm struck by the marvelous structure of the castle. It's huge! I shake my head and quickly follow Samuel. He walks up a bunch of stairs down a long hallway to a huge room with throne chairs. He goes to the one on the left and sits down tapping his fingers.

"There you are sir." I assume is Silas says. He kind of looks like my brother.

"Yes, you've found me." Samuel says in a fake nice tone.

"I heard you were planning an attack on the humans, you can not do that. They will have no match against you." Silas said being serious.

"That is why I ordered the attack, the humans are planning to attack us first." Samuel says.

"Who told you this?" Silas asks.

"It doesn't matter the source they still told me, and we have to prepare!" Samuel demands. His booming voice echoing throughout the stone room.

"Samuel you're thinking irrationally, the humans are no threat to you, you are their king." He explains.

"And they must be reminded of that Silas, I am you master, your lord and king. Don't disobey my orders!" Samuel shouts and I can see Silas get angry.

"You are most certainly NOT my master, nor my king or lord! I do not follow you or anyone else for that matter, we are equals!" Silas speaks sternly with authority. Samuel glares hard at Silas. A growl rips through his chest towards Silas.

"How dare you growl at me Samuel! I gave you that power and I can take it away just as easily. You will NOT hurt any human, I don't care what your source said the humans are not a threat to you or any of your kind! I order you to stand down immediately!" Silas orders.

"And if I don't?" Samuel asks testing him.

"You will stand down, or the aftermath for your mistake will be worse than you can imagine." He threatens. My wolf inside whimpers at the authority of Silas to the point I want to submit to him.

'Hes not our alpha Starlight, he's not even a werewolf.' I explain to my wolf.

'His authority is so strong, it's hard to resist.' she says back.

'I know but you must.' I say and she nods.

"You dare threaten me Silas?" Samuel booms standing up out of his throne. They stand staring at each other intensely not breaking eye contact when Samuel takes a step forward.

"You do not frighten me Samuel, I warn you, if you go through with your plan of attack on mer humans I will not hesitate to stop you." Silas says standing tall his voice stern with authority. Samuels stance waivers for a second as if his wolf is submitting but then remains to stand tall once again gaining control.

"Very well then." He speaks slightly softer and starts to slowly pace back and forth. "If that is what you wish." He sits down staring hard at Silas. I see Silas' shoulders slightly relax and nods.

"Thank you Samuel, now if you'll excuse me, I am going to retire to my chambers." Silas says, bows, turns around and walks swiftly out of the room. I go to follow Silas to see which way he goes when I heard Samuel speak again. I quickly turn around to see his second and third in command next to him.

"You strike tonight when Silas slumbers, the cooks slipped something into his nightly drink. He shouldn't wake when you pay him a visit." Samuel orders, they bow slightly.

"Of course master." They bow slightly and Samuel dismisses them. I turn and run out of the room to see Silas' standing near the door way just out of sight but could have heard all of it.

"That's how he knew" I whispers softly.

"Precisely." Elmer says softly.
